Powerful A/C unit for its size
Great little A/C unit. I couldn’t fit anything in my small window until I found this measuring at the perfect dimensions!! It took about ten mins to get the cold air going, then once it did it was great.. stayed ice cold all throughout the night.. perfect for a bedroom.. would highly recommend.

Don't purchase this AC!
Don't buy this AC:- LW6024RSMX. The display panel cannot be seen since the only illumination is the temperature when the AC is turned on, if you can figure out where the power button is. The vertical louvers are stationary, so you can't direct air-flow up and down. The horizontal levers, moving air-flow left and right are VERY flimsy, and the very first time I wanted to adjust one of the two, it broke, so that in order to change direction, I have to move the lever manually. I called LG and they sent me a replacement "part" but of course, it's the wrong part. The cooling is fair and sometimes VERY noisy, with the fan making a clicking sound. The choices for temperature settings are limited. This is my fourth LG AC. Based on the fact that I have been pleased with the other 3, I purchased this one. But I guess this will be the last LG AC that I will purchased.

Good, as expected
Seem to work as expected. Got the small one 6000btu, as our windows only open 11.8" so this just fit. It's a little noisy for the size, but does the job. Much better than a portable one. Got a different model 14000btu, and it's a freaking nightmare. This one arrived nicely packaged, undamaged, and was as expected easy to install. Had it in the window within 10mins. Remote works, has some odd functions you will need to memorize if needed. Has a self clean function and connects to LG Smart platform, that assuming links to Alexa or something. Overall am pleased with this purchase. Only issue is the noise, it's pretty loud for size, but everything else is good. Almost wish just got a handful of these for each room instead of their trash 14000btu one

It is so small it is cute. Not necessarily a good thing.
It came with a small pushed in part. Noticeable. Otherwise it was in perfect order. Easy to install. It is so small it is cute, but it feels like it is hard for it to make my bedroom cold. It does work eventually, but I had other LG smaller than this 6k BTUs that packed a larger punch. I guess the WiFi feature is worth it, really easy to control. Very quiet, great feature. Not Energy Efficient rated, but it sure feels the design was with that in mind. Recommend for a smaller room. I already installed it, I am not taking it down. Just get another next summer. My brother got the 8K BTU version, get that one instead. That punches.

Really cools down quickly
The media could not be loaded. LG LW6024RSMX Window Air Conditioner, Wi-Fi Enabled w/Remote,I am pleased with this purchase; it cools down the area really fast, and the Wi-Fi option is great. I can cool down my home before I arrive, which is such a luxurious feature. If I had to criticize one thing, I wish it were a little less noisy, but what air window conditioner isn't loud? The quality is excellent

Please don’t buy this…
ITS ABNORMALLY LOUD! Every time the freon kicks on it sounds like a sledgehammer striking through my wall as the fan drones like a dying lawn mower. This thing vibrates my whole wall and for a new unit it concerns me. I’ve noticed cracks forming above my window since I installed it a few months ago (NOT GOOD). I’m used to sleeping with a fan or some tv noise in the background, but this unit jolts me awake at night. The a/c noise overpowers and drowns out tv volume (on both fan speeds 1 and 2) so it’s not practical for smaller areas. It noticeably uses more electricity than I thought, when the a/c jolts on it causes my lights to glitch/dim for a sec while the unit sounds like it’s working overtime (I know that this is common for high powered a/c units but this one isn’t big or high powered). After letting a/c run on its lowest setting 60-63 degrees for about an hour or two it becomes cooler in my room. Overall it disappoints me that a new “name brand” LG unit operates this loud and clearly doesn’t preform as well as old units used to. What initially drawn me to this unit was that it was WiFi enabled and it was smaller, but it’s honestly NOT worth it.* —- A customer review I read after buying this said they noticed there isn’t a water line or drain with a water plug/opening in the back of the unit, so how does the water properly drain out ? This had to be an intentional design flaw for LG, it’s called Product Obsolescence. I will be surprised if the unit lasts me another 2-3 years in the summer. If I knew all this stuff earlier I would have saved the box and returned it right away.
