Any issues with the ribs getting to tender and falling off the hooks? Also do the bottom ribs burn closest to the fire in 18 wsm?

I don't have any experience with ribs but if you watch them as they get close to being done, they shouldn't slip of the hook!! Don't rely on the installed gage but get a wireless temp probe so you can monitor the smoker temp closely!! Smoker stays pretty uniform temp once it real a stable temp so the ribs closest to the coals shouldn't burn!! I had a sausage touching the drip tray and it didn't burn!!!

You have to order the hanger rack to fit the 18.5 and the hanger rack to fit the 22.5 WSM they are both different size racks and they both will close with the top lid down. They fit where your grate sits on those tabs.
