Best Boiled 10 Mins+, Not Mushy or Sticky, Good Plant Option
Our daughter is vegan and wants to limit processed carbs so we try to cook plant-based pasta dishes she can eat, and ideally us as well. We have tried several in the past which she mostly hated because often times they wouldn't hold their shape, would be gummy, taste funny, were mushy, or super hard at the other end of the spectrum. And I can cook all kinds of dishes, so I'm aware of lengths of time to boil and how to check if done. These required a little tweaking if you don't want too hard of a noodle with a little crunch - they remind me of the consistency of bamboo shoots found in many Asian dishes. I was a little worried if I boiled too long, they would become too soft, but I soon discovered it would be hard to cause that to happen even if you tried. You can boil these a long time and they remain firm. So I boiled them about 7 minutes, and I think they could have gone a little longer like 10 minutes easily. I would have liked them a little softer, but as part of a vegetarian, vegan, or any meal these can work really well. They only make about 2 small servings, but I was happy to see that they are responsibly harvested so both a healthy and sustainable option. In the photo I attached, I boiled them with some mushrooms just to kill two birds with one stone, took the photo without the other ingredients so you could see the noodles well, and then I added a homemade pasta sauce with tomatoes, herbs, and garlic (added cheese for my serving) and the dish turned out delicious. This is definitely a good viable plant-based substitute for typical high-carb glutenous pasta.

Yummy with meatballs and pasta sauxe
It's not spaghetti noodles, but it is a great alternative. I love pasta, but pasta doesn't love me and wreaked havoc on my digestive system, plus added fat to my stomach. But I missed sphaghetti and meatballs the most.I saw this on Shark Tank and have been buying it every month or so. I dump out the liquid, rinse it, let it soak for 15 minutes in clean water, rinse again, then heat up meatballs and pasta sauce and italian seasoning with it. Yummy! It's my favorite Shark Tank product and the one I buy regularly. I just had some yesterday. I buy the family size meatballs from wawa and combine them with some pasta sauce.

Is it pasta? No. Is it tasty and texturally pleasing? Most Definitely!
I should preface this review by saying I'm a big fan of hearts of palm. I can eat them right out of a jar. So this product intrigued me from the start. And given realistic expectations, it did not disappoint. I created a tasty "pasta" dish using these noodles, some quality jarred tomato sauce, and vegan sausage. I rinsed the noodles well, but I did not soak them in milk (as they suggest to get rid of the palm taste). I like the palm taste and really, once you add other ingredients to your dish, the taste moves way to the background. As you can see from the photos, they are the shape of linguine, however, each piece is only about 4 inches long. They remain firm, giving something close to a pasta al dente feel in your mouth. And sauce sticks to them. I found them more tasty than say zucchini noodles, but not as tasty as lentil or garbanzo bean noodles.Hearts of palm are basically water, so if you want some real nutritional value you're going to have to add a protein and some good fats, like I did with the vegan sausage. In this context, they are an excellent wheat pasta substitute. They are however, expensive. Each package is maybe 2 servings if the pasta is not the main. For me, it was one big serving.

Tries to be Pasta, but more like a serving of Veggies.
I miss pasta , so I wanted to try this to see if I can get a pasta fix. Looks like pasta. Tastes like hearts of palm. Tried it with a red sauce. Ate it, but will not purchase it again.

Good substitute.
As a diabetic on a low carb diet, the closest I’ve gotten to having spaghetti with my meatballs and low sugar sauce is the shredded Parmesan cheese I put on it. No, this doesn’t taste or feel exactly like pasta, but it feels like you’re eating pasta. It’s more filling like pasta. Yes, it’s expensive but try eating 1/2 serving at a time. If you’re used to not having any, half is better than nothing.

Perfect aldente!!
This product is perfect! I’m an aldente almost raw pasta fan. This product is perfect! It’s truly like linguini and remains pretty firm after cooking for a while. Sauté up some garlic, fresh tomatoes and EVOO. Let everything cook to your liking. While cooking rinse the palm and toss it in. Absolutely delicious!

Very good, I’ve tried worse! This one is great!
I was pleasantly surprised! It didn’t taste weird or anything like that, it tasted like real linguini to me. I couldn’t tell the difference, I like the firmness (al dente) it doesn’t fall apart in the sauce. Will purchase again.
