Just to let everyone know that this gauge works on tank pressure, not liquid level.Also understand the outside air temperature will affect you propane tank pressure as the pressure inside a propane tank fluctuates based on the outside temperature. For example, a standard 20-pound propane tank at 70 degrees will have 145 psi internal pressure. That same tank on a 100-degree day will have 172 psi of pressure. So on a very cold winter day, even with a full newly filled tank, the needle on this gauge will be toward the bottom end of the green area, which could be misleading as some would think they are almost out of propane when they are not.Secondly, this gauge will NEVER tell you how much liquid propane is left in your tank, how full or empty it is. All it is doing is letting you know if you have usable gas pressure. Once the gauge is in the yellow, you still have pressure, but it is running low, you might notice the flame on your heater is shorter, or your grill is not heating up like it used to. Once in the red, you have almost boiled off all of your liquid propane and will be completely empty very soon.These gauges work very well for their intended purpose once you understand how they work. Having one installed is better than unexpectedly running out of propane when you need it most.

Unfortunately this Type 1 adapter with the propane gauge does not work for my tank (at no fault to the seller) and I'm looking if I can find an adapter to make it work. But it is very well made and does feel solid! It looks and feels the same as the fittings in a big name store and comes at a great price!

Didn't realize tanks (only 2 years old) were POL style so 1st set of gauges ordered were wrong type and obviously did not seat! These fit perfectly and only time will tell how accurate they are. Under 2 minutes to install both gauges - threads cut and chased perfectly.

I bought a 10 lb propane tank to run a generator for several days without needing to turn off but didn’t realize the fitting is different than 20/30 lb tanks. Fits perfectly and gives a gas indication. Exactly what I was looking for

Installation time was less than 2 minutes. This propane meter is well made, good quality brass with thread that doesn't leak even with my gas sniffer set on high sensitivity. The meter responded instantly when I opened the tank.
