We us Atlanta airport and I’ve had noted in luggage on domestic flights saying they checked my luggage. I thought that was strange. So far no more notes and I feel like it won’t happen again.

First of all they are not designed for security. Completely locked you just slide them off the bag.Second they do not hold a code. You have to take them off, unlock them from the back and reset the code frequently.Finally, while opening it for security in customs it just broke apart.Piece of junk.

So far I like this strap. Time will tell how it stands up to the rigors of luggage handlers and conveyor systems. Combo lock is easy to set your own number.

I use this as extra protection for my suitcase and it definitely serve its purpose. Will buy it again and give it as a gift.
