Works better than the last adapter that I bought, but unfortunately it ins’t stream compatible, at least I can watch movies/shows on the internet.

I used the cable to show a slide presentation for a family members memorial. The slide show wasn’t working and I had purchased the cable as a back up just in case. It worked!! Thank goodness…it saved the event.

Ok this seems like fine quality but it should state that it won’t work to stream apps. I’m not sure anything will honestly tho. My goal was to plug my phone or ipad into an older TV in my camper and watch downloaded movies. No wifi. This won’t work for that. Youtube worked tho and websites did, even streaming service websites. You just cant run apps on your phone thru it without a 3rd party app I dont want on my phone. I’ll keep it tho in case I need it for something else.I’ve ordered an apple brand connector to see if that is any different but I suspect this is a piracy protection thing built into apps and will not work.
