I’m very caffeine-sensitive, so I typically drink decaf when I’m having coffee. I thought I’d try something different and give a mushroom product a go.Omyum has a really smooth chocolatey flavor that is mellow and just ever so slightly sweet. I like that it’s not overly sweet. You can always add your preferred sweetener, but for me, it’s perfect just as it is.A bonus for me is the 150 mg of L-Theanine. (I messaged the company to ask how much, since it’s not explicitly on the label, and they got right back to me with the amount!) I have discovered that L-Theanine is a MUST for me before remotely vigorous exercise, or my heart rate goes uncomfortably high and I feel extremely gassed out. Upon further research, I’ve learned that L-Theanine makes a great pre-workout, as it can help increase focus without amping up anxiety. Some people like to combine it with caffeine for energy without jitters, so some Omyum in your regular morning coffee would make a fabulous pre-workout mocha without all the tingly beta-alanine and tons of artificial garbage in the mainstream pre-workout products.The bag is a good value, as well. I have other products in the house for a similar price that only have 12 servings per bag. Omyum has 30!I’ve only tried it hot so far, but it would be lovely over ice with some milk. Something to try this summer!

Better product than competitors for the price. Better taste with less grit.

The media could not be loaded. Omyum coffee alternative only require 1tbsp to make 8-10oz. I followed the instructions used hot water and sweetened with condensed milk. The taste was more of a cacao flavor. If you like dark unsweetened chocolate then yes that’s the best way to describe the taste.

I received this product as a promotion. I saw the ratings and decided to give it a try. I am always on the look out for coffee alternatives. With OMYUM the flavor is delicious. It comes in a small pack and my game plan was to alternate this product as a special treat. For me it taste like a rich hot chocolate. I get excited in the morning to make this on occasion. It really is special but for the price I would definitely order on occasion. I did feel alert for a few hours with all the ingredients made for that extra energy boost. I recommend.

I'm so glad I found Omyum! I have been drinking it on mornings that I play tennis and it really improves my focus and energy. It has also proven to be a solid pick-me-up to get me to the gym in the afternoon. It crushes coffee, as I have not felt jittery or an energy crash. I love the chocolate flavor, and it's easy to mix with hot water. Pro-tip: also delicious chilled over ice.

DO NOT BUY!! The product we received was expired by 2 years. We didn’t notice the date until we had already opened and drank some of it. Not sure if the old age was why it had a bad taste or not. Selling expired products is not okay. A lot of money to waste.

This was my first time trying mushroom coffee and I'd have to say I'm impressed!As far as flavor goes, I'd describe it as an unsweetened hot cocoa with a hint of Chai.Nice even energy level without the afternoon crash. As a mom of three and a business owner, it's great not feeling like I need a nap by lunch time.My favorite thing about Omyum is how gentle it is on the gut. No bloating and a curbed appetite is a win for me!
