I use it all the time, and inside of my house, with no noticeable odors. It is about the cheapest that I can find. I think straight kerosene would work better in one of my larger lanterns, but it would be smelly, so If I use the larger lantern, I need to keep it filled to a higher level. But it would be smelly, so this oil works well for my purposes, and I have bought at least two gallons of it.

I used it in doors for about an hour and did not smell anything until I put it out. When extingushed it gives off a smell like when a camdle is blown out. Next time, I'll use it and take outside to put the flame out.

We purchased this to fill an oil lamp we recently made specifically since it was odorless and smokeless when burning. This is the only kind we will use so it's safe to use indoors, easy to dye to create colored oil and doesn't smell.We appreciate that with the gallon we bought, we will have enough for several refills. Perfect for using in emergency lamps for when the power goes out.

I read many of the reviews prior to purchasing and many of them commented on how messy the oil was when trying to pour the oil. I ordered it anyway. When it arrived, the package also contained a narrow tip applicator which makes the oil even more awkward and messy to dispense. Maybe a pour spout (like they have on laundry detergent bottles) would make this refilling process a lot less sloppy.

I am not being remunerated in any way there but just an average customer. Have to say that after reading a bunch of reviews that this stuff sucks and small flame, etc. ...this stuff ROCKS. I am using this in a Tiki torch and it is performing just as you would want! No smell too (if that's something you are seeking) ! Five stars and will be buying this again.
