I bought this to replace one in and IR therapy lamp I have as the one sold by the manufacturer is disgracefully overpriced and after consulting with chat GPT there is really no difference between the one sold by the manufacturer and this other than this one featuring an outer jacket on the lamp which adds another layer of safety, although it's possible it may extend the initial heating up period ever so slightly. Build quality and fit seem very good time will only tell when it comes to the lifespan of the product, I made a point of minimizing how much I touched the product, I used latex gloves and cleaned it down with 99% isopropyl alcohol, and made sure it was dry before turning on.
