I got this basket to go in the deep narrow-ish cabinet beside my fridge. It goes in the back to hold canned foods, while another wire basket, is used in front of it for potatoes. I did a ton of shopping and measuring to get just the right fit for both baskets, and this one by Spectrum Diversified was the best option. I can fit three cans, stacked, across the width and three cans also, stacked, from front to back, plus I could squeeze two more in the front. For my purposes, a wider basket with straight sides would have been better, but this one is not bad. The curved dip at the front is super great, and another great feature is that the wires on the bottom are arranged so that the ones touching the cabinet are arranged parallel to the depth of the basket, so that when I slide it in and out of the cabinet, it slides better as the wires act like little rails of sorts. I've checked, and the wires of most baskets are arranged in the opposite way, which is counter-intuitive at best. At the moment I don't need another basket like this one, but I would buy it again if I needed another, and I recommend this to anyone who needs a good, sturdy basket of these proportions.

Love these! I use these in my pantry, closets, and hall closets to hold everything from belts to potatoes. They are durable, have a great “schoolhouse” or “farmhouse” look, and the scoop on the front makes them really convenient for holding items on a shelf. I am considering ordering a third set.

i thought a package of five was more than i needed...but i might even come back for more...when they are on shelves, it is easy to reach in and pull something out without having the pull out the entire basket...using to store beans and rice in the pantry, lithium batteries for tools in the closet, "stuff" in a cabinet on the porch, gardening supplies in the shed...etc...like i said, i might come back for more...i have wooden box storage and woven baskets, but these wire baskets make it so much easier to see what is inside..

Larger on the top than the bottom by as much as 2 inches. I wish the seller would measure both the upper and lower width and length. I kept them but cannot use where originally needed.

It's slightly tapered so could not lay the magazine flat so stood the up right , which makes it easier to thumb through them

I use this upside down to keep the blue jays from getting to the peanuts we put out for our favorite red squirrel.

Purchased these for my daughter to organize her crocheting tools! Works well and looks great in her wheeled trolley!
