Gets job done 👌
This ten times better then low budget slicer which is not worth money (plastic bottom & serrated blades & suction feet ect) I’ve done some serious research so I decided to go for this 1 as i do allot of online meat shopping & I didn’t regret it Im able to slice large long/wide meats & get good results for deli 👌 or thick slices this can be used with heavy use would recommend (as other brands use this quote to sell) but I have no regret buying this item go for it & of course stay safe use it 👍

Good but not perfect
I bought the 250mm one as the 300mm one was too big to fit in any cupboard. The good side is that it's a really good, solid, meat slicer, with good blade and safety features. Some downsides are: the suction feet leave black marks everywhere, the cast aluminium isn't perfectly finished everywhere and there are rough edges to it, cleaning the blade is neither fun nor easy and requires total removal of the blade with a special (thankfully provided) contraction, there is an annoying plastic white sheath which gets bits of meat caught on it (and it doesn't move), customer service is non-existent, the (five) spikes are insufficient to grip the meat properly, and it is very heavy.

Cut out upon release of the start button.
Unfortunately this particular machine suffers from a fault that causes the blade to stop spinning after releasing the start button. Although initially it was thought it to be due to a faulty switch it was soon discovered after having replaced the switch with a brand new one that the fault lies elsewhere. Unfortunate you will find no help online as no one seems to know the cause's of the problem. All rather frustrating.

Good compromise for domestic or light commercial use
We chose this machine because it's bigger and more solid than domestic slicers, but not so big and heavy that it occupies loads of counter space. We cure our own bacon and the occasional ham or silverside, so a slicer is extremely useful. The slicing diameter of the piece of meat that you can use with the guard fully in place is around 12cms, so it copes with most tasks. Long thin pieces like streaky bacon need to be folded in half before slicing, but that's no great problem. The good points are that the slicing performance is excellent, both on soft products like bacon, and on firmer products liked cooked salt beef or salami. The adjustment is precise, and the blade is firmly mounted so that it doesn't wobble and so guarantees nice even slices. The machine sits solidly on the worktop, and is quite happy with extended periods of slicing. There's a built-in sharpener, so the blade can be kept keen. Spares are readily available if you break or lose something.Although it scores five stars for cutting performance, there are a couple of points against. Slices fall onto a platform at the back of the machine, and there's no tray to catch them. Second, and more serious, it's fairly tedious to clean it properly. There are a number of nooks and crannies that need attention, especially under the slicing wheel assembly where crumbs inevitably gather. Everything comes to pieces quite easily, with large thumbwheels holding things in place, but it's not a machine that you'd want to use just to slice a bit of cheese for a sandwich!
