Definitely worth it, follow instructions
I was dubious about what to get as I have limited experience colouring hair, nevermind trying to remove it!Bought this to remove red temporary colour from daughter natural blond hair ready fot school. There are quite a few instructions, but thru are clear and if you follow them (a timer helps!!!l), then it should work for you. We did 45 mins for leaving on the hair. There was some residual redness left, but very faint and overall very impressed with colour removal, as well as condition hair was left in.Smell isn't great, but with windows open it was fine- no worse than chemical smell of hair dye in my opinion.Wish I'd done before after pics, but it definitely removed majority of colour (thank goodness!).

10/10
As you can see I had a red I my hair. Unfortunately I woke up to extremely greasy hair this morning so it doesn't quite do the justice of how red it was. I could've lived with it though, had the dye given full coverage. It ended up an extremely patchy job on top of the fact the colour hadn't quite turned out as expected. I wanted a deeper mahogany and when it's freshly washed it's quite a garish red.So! After reading through a lot of the comments about this colour removal product I decided to go for it so I didn't have to go out with my hair looking like crap. If you're used to dying your hair from a box, then the instructions are extremely easy to follow. It's pretty much the exact same process.I was expecting the product to be stinking. I was expecting the product to attack my chest. I'm an asthmatic smoker and my asthma has been playing up along with my hayfever. The product did smell. But it wasn't stinking. Ammonia based hair dye smells worse. So this stuff was bearable. It also didn't really affect my breathing.I wrapped my head in clingfilm then puta towel on top for good measure and I left the product in for approximately 45mins then began the rinse process. No colour came away during the rinse and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not (I can now only assume it is) and I panicked a little. It wasn't until applying the buffer that my hair felt dry and almost brittle. So after I had rinsed that off, I took the advice of many on here, and applied a little conditioner. Then completed the next rinse process. I didn't put on any conditioner after this step as I bought a conditioning hair mask just for this which has left my hair silky soft (not quite as soft as it usually is after a shower) and smelling strongly of bananas.I knew from other comments that the red wouldn't completely lift and I was likely to be left with a gingery-blonde colour. It's gone more of an ash blonde which I can definitely live with for a few weeks to give my hair a rest before I dye it again. I plan on going back to my natural colour. Or as close as I can get.Im 37 with salt and pepper hair. My hair type is a mixed bag I'm afraid, it's thick, thin and fine as well as curly and frizzy. Genuinely got a full hybrid of both my parents hair. It can vary between dry and greasy. I can sometimes leave it several days before it needs to be washed. Or I sometimes have to wash it daily. Using hair products, blow dryers or straitners doesn't have an affect on how my hair wants to be that day.Overall this product worked incredibly well, lifting all the red tone from my hair. It didn't smell as bad as I expected and it didn't attack my already weak lungs. I would recommend conditioning at least once in between rinses and putting on a conditioning hair mask. 10/10 from me

Works OK but I fear the smell will never leave!
The product is OK. I have medium brown hair naturally and had alot of red pigment buildup i was trying to strip. It's done OK; lightened it a fair bit but very orange-toned now.But my goodness the smell! I'd read other reviews and thought I was prepared for it but it was worse than I imagined. I tolerated it for an hour, and did lots of rinsing. It's several days later now, after at least 3 hair washes, and when my hair is damp it reeks of sulphur, even after using strong scented shampoos and conditioners. Even though I know my hair needs another treatment, I will just stick with slightly odd looking hair than suffer the smell again.

Removes colour to the base colour. Doesn't bleach or lift 🤩
Took months of build up out. Time for a trip to the hairdressers now I'm free from toner and build up. Smell was horrible but not as bad as other colour removers. Not as eggy as ones I've used before. This hasn't lightened my roots, just erraised the colour semi and permanent dye.

Literal magic
This stuff is amazing. Now, for starters, I used the Malibu CPR before, to get off like surface colour, because I had a pinky/red that hadn’t seemed to have truly penetrated and kept rubbing off on my pillow. So once I had used the Malibu CPR sachet, I was left with dark brown/red mids and ends, and red roots. When it came to using this, I was scared of two things, it affecting the quality and texture of my hair, and the smell (because I read the reviews). Well, it was easy to understand the instructions, and if it’s easy for me I’m sure you can do it, I mixed it and put it on. The smell was not that bad. People made it sound absolutely unbearable. Of course, it doesn’t smell great, and it did get worse and stronger overtime, but I could cope. I left it on with a shower cap to hold the heat in, and put the hood of my dressing gown over to insulate it even better, for an hour (the maximum time). I checked in between and saw that it was working. I did panic as I felt like it was heating up on my roots and was scared, but tbh I think it was just the shower caps digging into me lol cause I put on two. Then I went in the shower, washed it out still following instructions, and was left with my ginger hair from last year. I’m so happy. To say I’ve dyed my hair black brown for since October last year, and red, it’s done amazingly. I’m so happy with this and will know to buy it in the future. Clarification, in the picture the darker hair is AFTER the Malibu CPR, and the ginger is from This!!
