Absolutely excellent. Came in good time in perfect condition. Lovely feel and perfect size for a handbag, and large enough print for me to read, though probably not for everyone. Am enjoying using it.

Live the small size. Bought 4 for teen children. Easy to read version. Words small but ok.

I've been encouraged for years to read the Bible in King's James format as this is the closest, translated version of the original Greek/Hebrew Bible. But, I've always found this version daunting and often hard to understand- plus I feel more detached from the Word. However, the NLT is very handy and my Bible version of choice. It's written in an everyday language which is easily understandable and more personable. I can understand the Word of God so much better. And, there's no reason why you can't do a cross-comparison with the NLT and the KJV!

Print very small, and there are notes on verses and in margins from previous owner, which rather endear it to me.

Well the bible is a collection of over 60 books so your not just getting one book your getting 60+!!! This is how God speaks to you and guides you through his word. Existed for over 2000 years. What you read is the truth about Jesus who came into this world. God the creator of all things became a human being. How Awesome!

I love the bible, I typically buy and read NIV but I liked the size of this one. I bought it for a friend and they loved it. It is well made, small and light.
