How can this be soap free when it contains sodium laureth sulfate?

Soap free means its not made by the soap making process of Sodium Hydroxide and Water where the Water reacts with Sodium Hydroxide forming soap whilst removing the Sodium Hydroxide in the process (that's why they don't need to include Sodium Hydroxide in the ingredients) This wash uses emulsifying fats and oils, cleaning your skin without using the somewhat harsh usual soap (the precipitate of the chemical reaction). SLS is just a chemical powder which is basically like flour for soap as it helps to thicken it, give it a wonderful lather, helps the cleansing properties and also preserves it (even though it is not classified as a preservative by the FDA).I hope this helped someone!
