Great clock, son loves it.

Brought for my son and he loves it, works as it should and is a good addition to his bedroom.

This looks cool and the kids love it because of how it looks, but there are several issues.It is made out of very flimsy plastic and so has no weight to it and is easily knocked off (this does mean though it doesn't hurt so much if it lands on your head...). Some extra weight would have nice in the base to help stability, and to make it feel less like a toy.The thin plastic means that the the large amounts of it glow with the light escaping from the LCD screen. The screen is quite bright and doesn't dim so does light up the room at night. The screen is very low quality and makes 1980's calculator screens look high quality.There is no internal battery or memory, so every time you switch the plug socket, you have to reset the date, time and alarm.The date is in the American Month/Day format with no way of changing it.Overall, it is easy for kids to understand and use and they will like it if they don't mind the light at night, but is definitely not worth paying full price for - wait for a sale.

Son was really with this clock as he is gaming mad bought for Xmas and still going strong alarm sound is loud enough to wake a 14 year old on a school morning which is some task

Bought for Christmas, should have realised there wasn't a battery option. I have no idea why it's not dual like many others. My son didn't have a plug where it needed to be so it runs on a power bank that I have to charge every 4 days. Got one for my other son as well so that's a lot of charging and messing around!It's very lightweight, topples easily.Light is far too bright at night. My kid has to face it away so can't even enjoy the design of the product.Wouldn't recommend or buy again. Most other Paladone stuff is fab though.

Permanently backlit so useless. The case is poorly designed so the backlight filters through non-funtioning parts of the case. For the price you'd expect better functionality like weekday/weekend alarms. Cheap, nasty and you're paying for a novelty that is not fit for the purpose intended.
