I have had one of these for 8 years of continual use. Great value. Does the job reliably with a range of useful attachments. Light weight but not flimsy. As good for shaping as for trimming or thinning. A set of batteries lasts ages. No need to spend more on the latest flashy kit.Just off to buy another. Recommended.

Takes AA batteries, I have rechargeable AA NiMh batteries. It works well on them. Happy days. Unsophisticated and easy to operate.

Works great, size is perfect. Easy to clean, they are a bit loud. Comes with everything you need! I use them to clean necklines and side burns when I cut mens hair

I've had an old version of this trimmer for many years, and the replacement is not the same quality. The head is slightly narrower and shorter, just enough that the old attachments don't fit. The new ones are of very flimsy plastic and are not going to last long. The attachments shown in the picture with this listing are not the ones you get. They have built down to a price, and it shows.Battery compartment a bit tricky to get into as no grip lines, attachments tricky to fit and remove.The clippers are small and compact and do work reasonably well, but get a better quality one unless price is a major factor.

I've only used this once so far, so cannot comment on longevity and build quality, but it works well and the design should be a lot less prone to clogging up with trimemd hairs than my last trimmer was. This can be used as a "shaver" to remove beards/moustaches in one go if you don't mind some minor stubble remaining, so it's not a "clean" shave, but it's a much easier way to shave off longer hair than a foil headed razor can shave off. It runs off 2 * AA battery cells, so I can use my NiMH rechargable AA cells in it. The advantage here is, unlike a shaver with inbuilt batteries, if the ones in it go flat I can take them out and put a previously charged NiMH pair in it while the pair just taken out from it are on charge.

For the price this is a very good buy, lot cheaper than buying the trimmers for Braun shavers.

You may end you deafened but the adjustable trimming gate will ensure you have a pretty well groomed beard!
