These work well for my daughter whose growth spurts made her feet hurt more after ballet practice. The whining went to a minimum compared to traditional icing methods as they were not tolerated by my 12 year old. If you also prefer to walk away from preparing ice buckets to heal feet and allow your ballerina slide on comfortable ... ish ice packs targeting the pain, this product is for you. The lovely light purple makes the young dancer more willing along with greater autonomy to administer the "treatment." The ice packs keep the right amount of cold for the right amount of time. Simply walk away as a parent with no worry of frostbite to distance yourself from the whining. Don't be brutal though, I recommend a sweet treat for the pain just to show you care. The socks are lovely and hold the packs well. As there are multiple slots, dancers can select where the ice pack treats more effectively. Honestly, this is a must for parents to buy their young dancers that struggle with insane growth spurts. My daughter went from a size 6 to an 8 in women's in one year. I wish we had these sooner.

Helped the burning of my feet after a long work day. The size was right and it was a good price. I didn't notice a smell. The quality of both the socks and the ice packs were great.

I bought these because during my pregnancy I ended up getting a condition that gave me symptoms , one of them being hot feet. I couldn’t sleep at night at all because my feet were hot and burning :( tried these bad boys and loved them! They kept my feet cold and we able to sleep . I took away a star because it only stays cold for about 20 min.

These are amazing and perfect after foot surgery. They are soft and comfortable.

I got these for pregnancy - my feet have gotten very swollen in the last month of my pregnancy no matter what I do. I was hoping these would be an easy way to ice my ankles and feet.Overall, they're comfy and help my situation somewhat! So not useless and I don't regret buying them.But, they're not totally effective. The placement for the ice packs make it easy for them to slip out with any type of movement. I usually need my husband to help me adjust and reposition the ice packs to stay on my feet effectively.Also the ice packs don't get cold enough in my opinion... but still helpful with some pain and swelling relief.They fit well the socks themselves - the ice packs are probably not the best size or design though which limits how easy to use they are.I've only had them for a short while, and so far durability doesn't seem like an issue, I've worn and washed them many times already.So overall, 3/5. Not perfect, but not useless!

I like the softness and ease of placing the gel packets into the socks. I think the gel packs soften rather quickly. I sometimes use a small regular ice pack to help with the cooling process and pain relief on my foot. I also, place the entire sock in a baggie and put in the refrigerator. The extra effort of chilling the sock helps relieve foot pain, too. i HAVE SHARED THE PRODUCT NAME AND HOW HELPFUL IT IS WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY AND MY PODIATRIST.Note: DO NOT WALK AROUND WITH THE SOCKS ON AND GEL PACKETS INSIDE SOCKS. THE WEIGHT OF THE BODY WILL BURST THE GEL PACKS.
