Totally exceeded my expectations
This thing worked so much better than I expected. Workmanship was adequate, perhaps even excellent. Easy to assemble, fits almost perfectly on my Cybertruck. Nice diversity in set up, screen windows, awnings, full closure, etc.. Even had one night of wind and rain and it stayed completely dry inside. The value given the cost is rare from something off this shopping site; Again, my expectations were totally exceeded by how well this performed.

Works well
It takes some learning to put up. It did rain the first night I used it worked well. Glad to see nothing leaked inside the tent. Wish where it connected to door/wheels was a better fit for a Jeep. Same thing with the piece that goes under the vehicle, that is one clip fit so it drops down really fast are more narrow vehicles. Should has be adjustable. On a Jeep, the second side door is where your hatch door goes. So it is completely useless. I personally think it should be on the other side. When you put it up, make sure all the tent doors are shut when you stake it down. Because if you put too much tension on the tent when you stake it with the doors are open, it will not zip closed. So this is not Jeep Wrangler friendly, but it does work to a degree.

Easy to put up - good value
The media could not be loaded. Some people have left reviews say that it takes a lot of work to get the tent assembled. I found a very simple way that works. The first time you put it on your car you set it all up and adjust your straps - then all you have to do is hook it up from then on out. The first time might take you 20 minutes, but after that, it probably only takes 10 or less.1. Lay the tent out so that they gathered side of the tent that has elastic in it is pointing towards your car.. with the hatch back down lay this part of the tent over the top of your car. There are straps on each side, run them through the loops and then weave it through your wheel on your tire. Bring the strap back up and put it into the clip at the top. Cinch the strap tight. From now on it fits your car!2. Then lift your hatchback with the tent laying over the car. This works the easiest because you don’t have to try to get the tent wrangled over the top of a hatchback that’s open.. much easier! If you have a roof rack on your car, I would with the strap through the roof rack as well.3. Insert the tent poles through the clips and the loop that sound to the back side of the tent. Put each end of the tent poles into the grommets. Inside of the tent, there is a black strap that is attached near where the pole is. It stretches across the inside of the tent and attaches to a clip on the other side where the pole goes through the grommet on that side.4. Make sure all of your doors screens and everything are zipped shut, then spread the tent out away from the car and insert the stakes on each side of the door.5. We purchased new heavy duty stakes that have a hook on them, and we put a stake in near the tire, where the tent poles come down and near the opening of the door of the tent on each side. Six stakes in total..I’ve seen a review that says it takes two people to put this up but it definitely could be done by one person.EDIT: we have used this for 7 nights - up and down each night. We have had strong winds, thunder, lightning and rain. As long as you get better stakes with a hook and put them in tight you are good to go. We set out crates with food and some firewood along the inner flap when we had the wind. This is holding up well.

Functional and Stylish, But With Limitations
Pros:Winter-Friendly Design: The absence of a bottom is a standout feature, making it exceptionally suitable for winter camping. It simplifies setup and teardown, avoiding the mess of snow and mud.Aesthetic and Material Quality: The tent looks sleek and the fabric quality is impressive, suggesting durability and good weather resistance.Cons:Size Limitation: It's smaller compared to other vehicle camping tents on the market. This can be a drawback if you're looking for spacious outdoor living quarters.Dependence on Vehicle Support: Unlike some other tents that can stand alone, the KAMPKEEPER must be attached to your vehicle to stay upright. If you plan to use your car without the tent, you'll have to disassemble it, which limits its versatility.Final Thoughts:The KAMPKEEPER SUV Car Tent is a great addition to any winter camper's gear, especially for those who prioritize ease of use and cleanliness in snowy conditions. Its aesthetic appeal and material quality are definite plus points. However, its smaller size and inability to stand independently may not suit everyone's needs. If you're looking for a shelter that extends your vehicle's living space with minimal fuss, this is a solid choice. Just be aware of its limitations in terms of space and standalone stability.

Instructions unclear, too short for vehicle
Me and my husband read the reviews about how the instructions suck and he was like “it’s fine, it’s just a tent, we can figure it out” well that was what we thought till we were trying to set it up. There are weird straps and it’s unclear as to where they go, but they have to go somewhere to hold the tent up. We did figure it out but it’s not very convenient. We thought it might still stand if you take it off the vehicle, this is not possible, it’s a tear down every time and put back up kinda situation if you need to use your suv. Also I don’t think you can tell but my 5th gen 4Runner is a bit to tall for this tent!! It don’t sit right and the tent was off the ground by a good 2 inches near the vehicle. We had high hopes! The material is good though and it’s not all bad.. we just will not be using it since it don’t fit.

Suv tent
Easy setup, only wished it had a bottom floor, would feel safer with small rodents or animals roaming around in the night. It held up very well with strong thunderstorm while camping.
