This is PERFECT for me, i'm very happy
For my needs , this is perfect. I got my first one of this exact tray in May of 2021. I got a second one that same month after finding out how exactly it did what i needed. I was spending all day on my laptop, a 13 inch MacBook Pro. i did not like sitting up using the laptop, i wanted to basically lay with my legs stretched out, while sitting somewhat reclined, i mean comfortable. i tried a couple of plastic things that didn't work out, not stable, like kids coloring tables, or an artist's table that holds tools.I'd already looked at laptop desks on Amazon, they have a huge selection , but until i found this one, they were all too wide, the distance between the 'legs' were too far apart so that if i laid on my couch where i spend most of the day, the leg/stand on the outer side would just fall, there was nothing for it to stand on because it was too wide.. If i found one that was more snug but it still wasn't snug enough. To me it seemed to not be designed for use laying on your couch propped up by the arm of the couch on one end, the way people sometimes lay if they're reading a book or a magazine.I had problems on my bed as well, the wider ones didn't fit right to do the job, they would slide off the side of the bed. i wanted, being a stable desk for my laptop so i can use the laptop for the many things it does without thinking about it, this one does what it does without me having to pay attention to it. It's essentially a little table that fits my couch or bed, or anything bigger, so i can work and play on my computer without thinking about whether it's going to fall off its table. So i've had these two laptop trays for 3 1/2 years and forgot about how much I appreciate them. Then one of them broke. The stand came off one of the legs, the one on the right. i found the stand and could stick it back on but not securely. It didn't wobble, i would have forgotten it was broken. A small piece of plastic had broken off where the tray attaches to the leg.I am surprised these have lasted as long as they have, especially the one in the family room, because i move around more, i have two dogs, and being on the couch is closer to the edge than being on the bed. The result is that the stand has fallen more times than i can remember, and usually with the laptop on it. It handles fall well, all the parts are very tightly attached to each other, but the noise made when the computer and stand fall to the floor is ugly, and i always pray when i pick up the computer, i got the computer in October 2020 so i didn't have it very long before i got the trays, I will give both trays and computer credit for standing up to human error and clumsiness. Both laptop trays look like they did when they were new. They aren't scratched or bent or marked. i got the light color, it gives me a nice feel. When one of them broke a few days ago, i continued using it. I wasn't sure what i was going to do. It seemed as if putting some Super Glue into the place where the two parts attached might work. The only reason i didn't come to Amazon to buy a new one immediately was because about a year agoi wanted to get another one as a back up to put in my car but i couldn't find this model. i think they still had this brand but not in the Medium size. Anything larger than the medium of this stand wouldn't fit my situation. i remember being frustrated. i spent a lot of time looking for these the first time i got them and these were the only brand i found that met my essential needs for the fit in relation to my furniture. But, i decided to go ahead and look on Amazon, i searched my previous orders and found what i was looking for, i was so happy to see they seemed to still be here, asking me "Buy another one?" i clicked on the product link and sure enough there it was the same one, and it had the two sizes, medium and large. i was in suspense, i got out a tape measure and sure enough, this was the one that will not fall off my couch, unless i accidentally knock it off. i was happy to get fast shipping and now i'm using my brand new one, same color, so i really can't tell the difference between the new one and the much used 3 years old ones.i think the problem with all other products being too wide for my couch, is that they are designed for PCs, not MacIntosh laptops or not the small mac laptops anyway. All the other one have a large space for a mouse pad, which i don't need, my laptop has a self contained track pad. The less space the laptop tray takes the better. If i wanted more room i could get the large size but i don't have a use for anything bigger.

Work table
This table is perfect for doing work in your bed. If the mattress sinks in, you can adjust perfectly to make sure your mouse laptop is even. The height and tilt is perfect for all my needs, I highly recommend this table to anyone

Surprised 🥳
I wasn’t expecting much. But like most things I’m iffy about on the Amazen I figured I’d give it a try. Im very surprised how lightweight it is. How I can use it while I’m sitting on my couch studying and writing. Or in my bed. Which when I write in my notebook, I usually put all my weight on my arms. The table may be made with plastic, but it didn’t wiggle or budge too much when I was drawing or writing. I haven’t used my laptop on it, but it held my iPad pretty good. The biggest thing I love is I can use it in my vehicle too. I travel for work during the week and it works well leaned against my steering wheel. I propped it up on a pillow though for height though. So comfy to use too, for writing or drawing between stops. I never unfolded the legs while in my vehicle but I’m sure I could do that in the back seat or passenger side. This has so far not let me down, but if it ever breaks I’m always one to go back and update my review if it’s a bad product.

Awesome purchase!
I'm a full time student currently doing distance learning. I had a cheap little plastic lap desk with a bean bag type padding underneath of it. It was awful. I decided to purchase this particular lap desk after reading many reviews and size dimensions on other lap desks. This is truly awesome. I love that I can break away from my regular desk and kitchen island and be able to study on the couch, on the floor, outside, and even in my truck! It is incredibly portable and versatile. I can set my laptop beside me and the lap desk fits my text books and notebook perfectly. The legs are adjustable in height which is really nice. I often will place the lap desk on my kitchen island at it's lowest height and it allows me to comfortable stand to do school work and not have to bend over or be sitting. The top also tilts to make it more comfortable to read, type or take notes. I use this feature a lot when I'm typing. The little rubber stoppers that come with it keep my laptop from sliding off the desk.I love that the legs fold under it! It allows me to stash it behind the couch or behind my desk so that it is out of the way, and out of sight.I'm a very bottom heavy pear shape. My hips are 55inches and I can sit indian style under the desk comfortably, but there isn't any extra room and the legs are touching the outside of my thighs, but I'm not putting excessive pressure on them. When I sit with my legs straight, the desk fits with extra room. I can even cross one leg over the other and be comfortable. However, I do notice on my couch, that the legs are the same width as the cushions, so both feet of the legs line up with the spaces that seperate the couch cushions. Even with the desk fully extended to it's maximum height, it's still too low. How I fix this is by simply sitting on the space between cushions, or (I have a sectional) by sitting on the corner cushion. So over all there's really only 2 negatives I can think of regarding this particular lap desk:1. It's the same width as couch cushions. Which isn't a deal breaker for me because I use it in so many other places.2. The little rubber stoppers are kind of a pain to keep track of. It comes with little square stoppers that you can use to fill in the holes if you don't want to use the laptop and mouse stopper. So if you know you won't be using the rubber pieces to keep your laptop and mouse from sliding off when the top is tilted, disregard this one. If you DO want to use those, it's a pain to keep track of the little square plugs that fill the holes and the two rubber stoppers when they're not in use. It would be nice if the desk would have some sort of storage component built it to hold these and maybe something else, like pens. I haven't lost any of the pieces yet, but I feel like it's only a matter of time. All in all, this is a really nice lap desk! Adjustable height, tiltable top, it's very sturdy and doesn't tip over from the weight of my laptop, or feel cheap at all, and it's easy to store. It doesn't fit in a back pack, but it's easy to throw in the truck and carry into the library if I want to bring it. I like that I'm able to stand and do school work as I hate feeling like I'm constantly sitting. If your looking for a lap desk, I'd definitely recommend this one.
