Love it
I bought a candle kit where I felt that the melting pot that came with it was really mediocre. It worked, but it has a small capacity, and wax took forever to melt. This baby, though. Holds 7 quarts of wax (I haven't actually tested capacity yet). I melted about 3 pounds of wax it melted fast! Seriously, I went to go make a cup of coffee and came back to a nice puddle. This will work perfect for me.The only problem for me is that you can't use the spigot to get all of the wax out. The directions do say to not remove more than 90% of the wax, so this is just a personal preference, not anything wrong with the pot. You can use this as a double boiler, or you can just pick it up to tilt out the rest of the wax, which is what I did.Overall, this is a keeper. I love it. If I ever need another wax melter, I would definitely buy this again.

Nozzle is amazing.
This is my first purchase for the candle making process and let me tell ya, I couldn’t imagine using a melter without this nozzle. I was skeptical that it wouldn’t drip but the thing is wonderful. The temperature gauge is handy as well and now a must for me.Much fun.

Works BUT BEWARE if you’re new like me
The media could not be loaded. It works. A little too good perhaps. As a new melting pot user who graduated up from my double boiler method, let me tell anyone else graduating up to the presto pot….. this thing heats up FAST! let me repeat, FAST! My first time I poured in 4 pounds of soy wax and set the temp to around 180 and it was done in 10-15 minutes. Totally melted and at temp. However, BAD BAD BAD. You do NOT want your wax to heat up this fast. Set it at the lowest setting possible and work your way up slowly, over the course of at least an hour! Two at least would be ideal for larch batches. keeping an eye on the temp. All of my candles came out crystallized and grainy and bubbly. Never had that happen before ever with the double boiler. I received advice on how heating this fast is bad and I did slowly melt the wax as I suggested the next time and it resolved the issue. Back to perfect candles. Also - depending on how full your pot is of wax it will heat faster or slower at the same heat setting. If you have a pound of wax at 180 it’s going to heat it a lot faster than 4 pounds at 180. I highly suggest putting it on the “warm” setting and keeping an eye on it, taking the temp and creeping up the temp until you are familiar with this pot. The temp knob is also not precise, especially when you factor in how much wax is in the pot.I’ve been using this pot now for months with no issues, it’s great. I’d definitely suggest it to any fellow home candle maker.Heed this warning young padiwans to become the candle connoisseurs I know you are within.

Works great... good buy!
Although the temperature dial is inaccurate, it didn't matter to me since I always use a thermometer anyway. Once I got the temperature dialed in, I just unplug it each time I use it. I didn't take any stars away for that because each time I've used it, I plug it back in and it always and reliably heats to that temp every time without variation. This heats up pretty fast, spout has never plugged up. Because of the design, the spout exit (inside) is above the bottom and it leaves maybe a half inch of wax in the bottom. This is actually a good thing because you wouldn't want fried wax on the bottom if you don't shut it off right away. The outside gets quite warm and usually leaves a drip or two after stopping the flow, but I would think all do the same. I leave a mason jar lid under the spout and every so often, I scrap the solidified wax off the lid and drop it back in the melter.I use this to make candles for resale and if I buy another melter (quite likely adding a second), this is what I'll buy.

Bueno
Calienta bien rápido, solo q cuando queda poca cera dentro de ella debes inclinar la olla hacia delante para que salga.
