Why can this company send me the plates but not the controller covers?

That one I'm not sure about maybe they don't make controller covers

Excuse me but, won’t this invite more dust/pet hair etc from entering the console since it’s directly feeding it into the fan?

To be honest the amount of dust accumulation is no different than with the Regular plates. The purpose I suppose that the vents have is to help circulate more air in the system so it doesn’t overheat.
