Good News, Bad News
Bad News First:Despite what the Amazon website says, this boot was not anything close to "True to size" for me, and "Order usual size" did not work for me. I wear US 9.5 or 10 (EUR 43/44) in every type of shoe/boot I own (running, skiing, hiking, dress, casual), across multiple brands (Nike, Rossignol, Salomon, Vasque, Johnston&Murphy, Sperry).Ordered a US 10 boot from Amazon: FAILED, too big. Returned.Ordered a US 9.5 boot from Amazon: FAILED, too big. Returned.Gave up on Wolverine boots at Amazon. Then, I happened to be in a brick-and-mortar sporting goods store which carried a range of sizes for this Wolverine boot.Tried a US 9 boot in the store: FAILED, too big.Tried a US 8.5 (EUR 41.5) boot in the store: GOOD FIT, and store price was close enough to Amazon online price that I bought it at the store (sorry Jeff).Good News:I put the boot through its paces today, first with a couple of hours of relatively light yard work, and then on my 8-mile (daily) hike. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a hiking boot (e.g., it's about 20% heavier than my Vasque Sundowners), it was comfortable enough that I'm confident that it will be more than adequate for a full day of any type of work I'm likely to throw at it.

Get a full size smaller. Soo far soo good.
I got these for the winter here in nyc and for the most part, they do their job but the sizing is too large. I usually wear a 10 sneaker so I got this in the same size. Way too big. So I downgraded to a 9.5 and the fit was good…until it broke in and became more roomy. Now I realize that I should have gone a full size down, dealt with the tightness for a couple of weeks and then it would have been perfect. Will report back as to how the boot lasts.

Great boots
Only work boots my husband loves. He is plumber and because of his work they do get dirty fast and after a year worn down. But comfort is great he says.

Comfortable and Sturdy Work Boots
I bought these boots because the boots I hsdntor quite some time, the Nike SFB's, were not cutting it and were causing a lot of knee pain from working on my feet for so long. The first day I wore these boots I had absolutely no knee pain during my 9 hours shift and it was quite shocking although very pleasant. These boots definitely need to be worn with some decently thick boot socks as they can be a little uncomfortable when worn with thin socks, Wich I learned the hard way one night. The traction on them is pretty good. I've gotten engine oil on them and they still gripped ladders and metal surfaces fine. Also, the break in period is very minimal. They were so comfy out of the box that I had actually thought there was something wrong with them. These boots are not heavy at all and feel good on your feet. If you need good work boots because you have bad knees like I do, or something of that nature, then these boots should definitely be on your list to consider. I will definitely buy more boots from this company in the future.

Poor quality
Bought these boots and top laces holders broke. Never had a pair of boots with issues within the first year.

What Happened to Quality Control?
Bought a pair of ankle-high boots this summer intending to use in the Winter. Hear I am in in late Fall using the boots on for the first time, and a shoelace hood popped out. These boot have never been used, past return date, and never will be used. Waste of money. I thought Wolverine was supposed to be a high quality company?
