Longevity and tone
I've been using D'Addario nickel-coated electric guitar strings for several months now, and they've become my go-to choice for both rehearsals and live performances.Tone & Feel:These strings offer a bright, articulate tone with a slight midrange boost, making solos and riffs stand out in the mix. The nickel coating provides a smooth feel under the fingers, facilitating easy bends and slides without sacrificing grip.Durability:One of the standout features is their longevity. The nickel coating resists corrosion effectively, even with frequent playing and exposure to varying environments. I've noticed they retain their tone and playability longer than some other brands I've tried.Tuning Stability:Tuning stability has been impressive. Once stretched properly, these strings hold their pitch well, reducing the need for constant retuning during gigs.Value:Considering their performance and durability, these strings offer excellent value. They're priced competitively and deliver consistent quality, making them a reliable choice for regular use.Final Thoughts:D'Addario nickel-coated electric guitar strings strike a great balance between tone, feel, and durability. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional musician, these strings are worth considering for your setup.

Cost effective
I love these strings,I've been using D'Addario nickels for years and even as good as they are I noticed I was getting more finger noise from them,I've tried other coated strings but didn't like the feeling of them, then I saw these and even though there a bit more expensive I thought I'd give them a try,I'm glad I did,no noise lovely tone and just as important they feel good,if they last 3 months it'll actually work out cheaper and as I have a few guitars I'll change them all to these,if you're on the fence just give them a shot,I'm certain you'll like them

Great alternative to another company that use to rule the roost in coated strings!
These sound fine, and have a nice feel when playing. The one thing I don't like is the way the string are packaged, prefer them in separate paper envelops, with the size of each clearly printed on (like other companies do).Its way too easy to select the wrong string, especially in a hurry or bad lighting, simply separate paper envelops with size clearly printed on is not going to cost much. If cost is an issue or 'greenness' reduce the outer packaging or get rid of your players circle promotions - really what a waste!Would have been 5 stars if not for this cheapskate packaging!Would I buy again - probably yes - depends on the deals!

D'Addario XS strings 10/46 Gauge
I gotta be honest i was really apprehensive about buying these XS electric guitar strings out as I had already tried the acoustic version a long time ago when they first came out and i wasn't impressed to be honest.I opted for the light gauge 10/46 set for my PRS S2 Standard 24 which has a 25" scale neck and these feel perfect to me on it .It has the right amount of tension but ability for string bending on the treble strings without too much problems or fatigue on the fingers.I've only just put these on my guitar today 15/8/24.So only time will tell how long they will actually last as they are not cheap strings. They do feel very nice to play I actually prefer the feel of the coating on the wound strings on these XS to Elixirs but that's only my opinion. At the moment I'm very happy with my purchase and can't see why I wouldn't buy these D'Addario XS 10/46 gauge strings again.A☆☆☆☆☆

Slightly more expensive but worth every penny
Let's get it out the way, yes these strings are expensive compared to the standard D'Addario line and other brands however this cost is outweighed by the fact I've had to change my strings less frequently. I appreciate that coated strings aren't for everyone but these are unreal. The tuning stability (usually my indicator for when I need to change strings) is great and they stay bright sounding and feel new for longer. I've never had one of these strings break on me and the only reason I had to change my last set was that I damaged one string by bumping my guitar. When I did change them all I had were a standard set of D'Addario Nickel Wound strings and the difference was immediately noticeable. If you're someone who finds themselves changing their strings all the time then there may be more financially viable options however I can't see myself using any other string in the future.

Great strings for Les Pauls
These strings are great for Les Paul shaped guitars. With the strings having 11s at the bottom is great for grunty sound you get from a Les Paul. Then having the regular top strings are good for tapping and pitch bends in my opinion. They should last over a year as they are very thinly coated, and they a nice slippy feel ideal for shredding.
