A Soothing Oasis for Sensitive Skin
As someone who constantly seeks hydration without the unwanted stickiness, I stumbled upon a gem in the realm of skincare - the Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Gel-Crème Body Lotion. Let me share my delightful experience with this heavenly product.First and foremost, hydration is the name of the game, and this lotion nails it. From the moment it touches your skin, you can feel the soothing moisture sinking in, like a drink of water for parched desert skin. But what truly sets it apart is its ability to hydrate without leaving that pesky sticky residue behind. No more feeling like you're coated in glue after moisturizing - just pure, velvety softness. One of the things I appreciate most about this lotion is its extra-light, fresh texture. It glides onto the skin effortlessly, making application a breeze. And thanks to its quick absorption, you're not left waiting around for it to dry before getting dressed. It's skincare convenience at its finest.

Repairing, nourishing, and non-sticky. A+!
This moisturizer is a little weird to use at first. You definitely want to apply to damp/wet skin to help it spread. A little goes a LONG way, and I suspect that the reviewers who say it is sticky may be applying too much. I apply right after bathing to WET skin, and use about a pea size per arm, and twice that for each leg.It has a kind of slimy/mucilage texture at first, but then it quickly dries down beautifully, even in my ultra-humid climate. It leaves a weightless, unnoticeable layer of protection. As other reviewers mentioned, when I go to wash my hands, it kind of "reactivates" the sliminess. If you are used to a greasy layer on top of your skin, this will take some getting used to. The finish is quite dry, more so than any other moisturizer I've used, while still being incredibly nourishing. It is definitely different, but not in a bad way!The ingredients are basic and no-frills. It seems like they focus more on helping the skin repair itself and function well on its own, rather than supplying ceramides and such to "band-aid" the issue.I notice that there isn't a dedicated preservative in here, though I'd bet the glycols help out. That is why the shelf life is only 6 months after opening. I am VERY happy with this, though, because I am working to restore my skin's microbiome. My skin has been less reactive since using this, and I notice my barrier is better. Small cuts and abrasions heal faster, and this even helps bug bites itch less. I was surprised what a noticeable difference it made, so now I am trying it as a facial moisturizer too. It also makes a great (very gentle) cleanser. It's definitely not going to remove makeup or anything, but it's perfect for just a little refresher or as a second cleanse. The size is economical and eco-friendly, especially since you only use a small amount. I can see myself buying 2 of these a year and using for at least 3 purposes (cleanser, body moisturizer, facial moisturizer). At that rate, the price is quite reasonable.

IM IN LOVE!
I have very dry skin with some sort of allergy to moisture. I don't fully know how to describe it but it more or less makes me "allergic" to all lotions. The more hydrating the worse it is. But this stuff is awesome! It hydrates enough and dries down completely! I haven't had a reaction to it at all and my skin feels so much better!!!! HIGHLY recommend!I'm new to the Bioderma world but I've tried 3 of their products so far and have loved all of them!

Helped my irritated skin when nothing else would.
I purchased this moisturizer to help with my extremely irritated skin when it seemed like nothing was working. Not only did this moisturizer immediately start treating the irritation but it’s been so great that now I use it regularly as my daily body and face moisturizer.Pros:- helps reduce itching/inflammation/irritation within seconds/minutes- no fragrance- absorbs quickly and does not leave any film or residue (as long as you don’t use too much)- even helped reduce acne, scarring, and oiliness- the beneficial ingredients are towards the top of the ingredient list and there are little to no harmful or unnecessary ingredients so you get good bang for your buckCons:- wish they sold the travel size in the US- if you have extremely dry skin, this won’t be moisturizing enough on its own (but luckily it layers pretty well)- it does not last the whole day, I do have to reapply but it lasts a good while and it goes on easily so I don’t mind reapplying

felt sticky on face, felt nice on body
I couldn't stand it on my face, like many Korean gels

This stuff is amazing, incredible, wonderful, etc.
I had an area that itched & I mean ITCHED. If I scratched it, it itched MUCH WORSE. I tried all sorts of lotions & potions on it. Nothing provided relief.....until I tried this. Right away, it gave me longer lasting relief than anything else I'd tried....but after applying it twice a day for awhile (I can't remember how long...but maybe a couple weeks), the area just did not itch.A ways down the road, once in a great while, there'll be an itchy twitch for a few seconds. But, for the most part, no itching any more. This product is fantastic !!

So far so good, but sticky film.
I have terrible eczema and have been suffering from uncontrollable itching on my legs and thighs at night. I have tried just about everything. I just received this yesterday. So far, I find it moisturizes and offers a cooling sensation to skin. But, the one major draw back is that it leaves my hands sticky so much that I have to scrub my hands with soap. It also leaves my legs sticky for quite a while that I have to wait a solid 5 minutes before putting on clothes. This is only day two, which is why I gave it overall three stars. Will update if I notice that this cream actually helps my skin in the long run.
