Preserve Shave 3 Razor System (Colors Vary)

Good razors and have been using them for years.

Some of the reviews note that the handle is flimsy, but I rather appreciate the lightness of this product. It is, after all, made from recycled materials, so the fact that it sits lightly in the hand (as opposed to some clunky, heavy, non-recycled / non-recyclable handle) is reassuring.A word of advice: Make sure not to leave the blade facing down in a damp area. I accidentally did so, and the next morning, the moisturizing strip was stuck to the surface and broke off.Overall, the shave is close, the handle is ergonomic, the colors are fun, and the fact that it's' environmentally friendly is a big plus.

These are the worst razors ever! I bought them because they are eco-friendly, vegan, and cruelty free. However, it's hard to put the blades into the handle. The handle is also really flimsy. Moreover, the blades tug really badly over the legs. And finally, the razors won't cut the coarser hair under the arms. Don't waste your money on these razors. I've ordered some Personna razors, which are made out of recycled plastic and are vegan and cruelty free. Hopefully, they will work better. Wish me luck!

I bought this because it is one of the few razor companies that do NOT test on animals. Unfortunately, the razor could use improvements. It is very light with the feel of a disposable. The blade has come off twice...I just put it back but it's annoying to have this happen. Also, I often am left with razor cuts after a shave. I am so rooting for the company, but they need to improve on this.

My skin is very sensitive when it comes to shaving. I experience a lot of pili multigemini which is basically when multiple strands of hair emerge from one hair follicle. This can make for a very unpleasant shaving experience. Simply Venus Gillette triple blade razors were my holy grail for shaving and besides those razors I could only get away with disposable bic 2 blade shavers while still experiencing some irritation. After learning about the cruel conditions other animals face I have decided to look more deeply into the products I buy.Either this would work or I would be that hairy woman walking down the street! Thankfully this razor did the job and did it well. It took some getting use to but I figured out what works best for me and I appreciate this product and company so much for doing what they're doing for my hair/skin and for the planet! Key tip: Carefully rinse hair off the blades as you shave, especially when doing large areas (legs), this helps prevent cuts, irritation and reduces time used having to go over areas

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. There are not any truly environmentally friendly razors out there that I have seen. But Preserve is doing what they can by making their products as "green" as possible. I am now only throwing away a razor cartridge instead of an entire disposable razor with handle and blade. These cartridges cost less than widely-know brands and they get the job done. My girlfriend uses them for shaving her legs, and she's very tall, so has lots to cover. She gets several shaves out of them. It's a good product.

This cartridges (for the preserve razor) are great! They are definitely better than I expected them to be. Are they as "good" as Venus or Quattro at getting the job done? No- you won't get as clean/close of a shave, but if you're like me, you bought these because the preserve razor is more environmentally friendly. It's not all about us (and our need to have sexy legs). I continue to use these because they work darn well for the cost and the desire to lessen my impact on the environment. They work really well-better than many "cheap" razors. They're a great product for your money.

I really wanted to like this product because it's recycled, made in the USA, and not animal tested, but I just do not like the quality of it. The blades themselves work just fine, when they actually STAY inside the razor itself. I find them very difficult to install the refills, and they continually fall out while I'm using them, I think because they don't pivot and move like I'm used to? I have to say that at LEAST every other time I shave my underarms, the blade falls off of the razor, and since I am unable to wear my reading glasses in the shower, it's near impossible to get it reinstalled. Even outside the shower, I have a difficult time getting it seated properly. Maybe I just got a bum razor, as the other reviews seem to suggest otherwise, but I can base my opinion on my experience(s). I will not be reordering.....
