These are my "go to" filters for my house. They are of good quality and value.

I was using the pleated type for years from a well known online filter company until the manufacturer of the pleated filter that I was buying changed the end cap color of the filter and the color signified the microns of filtering. The online filter company was not aware of the change and could not be bothered to find out if the new cap color was still a 50 micron filter. I figured it was time to find another 50 micron filter and I happened to see this one on Amazon. I have been shopping on Amazon for years and have never been disappointed, I saw this filter and thought I would give it a try. Since then I have ordered it again 3 times. I will never go back to the pleated filter again, these are great and last longer than the pleated kind. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

The cartdridges are the right size for the Watts system of the same name and seem to be doing their job well, we can see them filtering the water from impurities of the city's well water as the Watts filter has see through plastic. Will buy again when needed. It is cheaper to filter the whole house than to have to install filters all over the house...also the inside filters don't get so dirty and last longer.

These filters really work keeping out sediment. You can tell by the color esp if you have a clear filter housing to see. I have both sediment and charcoal and they work great! Great value for the $!

These filters and the filter system are excellent. We have a well so it filters out most things like rust particulates from the old well casing. That’s about the only thing I’ve found in the clear filter housing and trapped in the filter.

I live in southern New Mexico, where sand is our terrain, so I figure we have our share of sand in our water, along with other solubles. These filters are easy to install, and because I live alone (not a lot of water usage), I change them out about every 2 months. Because of their low price, cost to use them is nominal for me. And, they might last even longer each time, but I change them out when the filter shows just a slight yellowing color to them. Set you own schedule for replacement.

I have the Watts whole house filter system bought here from Amazon. I've been experimenting with ALL of the other brands/styles of cartridges Amazon sells. I keep coming back to these as the best. They fit nicely, as you screw the housing into place you don't have to worry about the top misaligning. They filter well and last long. And the price is nearly the cheapest of all options. That makes them the best option.
