Essential for Wellness On-the-Go
I believe in the medicinal power of Manuka honey, and Steens MGO 515+ is one of the few I trust most. I pack a small jar for every long trip—a staple in my travel wellness kit. A spoonful of this honey is my go-to remedy if I feel under the weather. The quality is consistently excellent, and the rich, pure taste is a bonus. Worth every penny—especially when it’s on sale!

Love this honey
I’ve been using Manuka honey for several years. I don’t have the best health and every little cut I would get would get infected. Now I don’t even keep any antibacterial creams in the house. As soon as I get a little nick- the honey and Band-Aid goes on and I’ve never had a single infection. I also have celiac and Crohn’s disease. I take the honey on a very regular basis- especially anytime I start to have a flare and it does a lot to help my issues. It really seems to help my flares within a few days. Less pain and flares calm more quickly.I switched this honey several months ago when the price of my old honey rose dramatically. I have seen this one offered on Amazon for years but had never previously tried it. I’m kind of bummed about that now because this is a very very good honey. I like the taste and consistency. It does excellent job on anything I’ve used it for. I am currently getting over a pretty bad Crohn’s flare and I upped the amount of honey I was taking to a spoonful every few hours. I was surprised to feel better the day after upping it. It doesn’t usually work quite that fast. I don’t know for sure but I can only guess that it’s this honey. And the cost seems to stay pretty steady. They ship it in a box with enough packaging to keep it in excellent shape. I’ve never had leaks or any issues. I can’t say much for how the company would deal if you had an issue because I’ve never had one. Always comes early and is in perfect shape and works excellent.

The Real Deal
This stuff is the real deal. I'm new to Manuka honey but I've heard and researched a lot about not only its deliciousness but its health benefits too. I'll admit I was surprised at how small the container is, but it's plenty clear once you start eating the honey that you are definitely paying for quality over quantity. The honey is thick and rich yet it spreads easily. This raw honey is so much better than the processed stuff you get at the grocery store - it's really amazing to see how fake the others look and taste now that I have something to compare it with. The thing I notice most about the honey is the quick energy I get from eating it. Since honey is a simple carbohydrate, your body breaks it down really quickly for energy and it's really amazing to sense how efficiently my body accesses the energy in this honey. It also has a really unique smell. For lack of a better word, there is almost a medicinal quality to the scent which concerned me at first (thinking it might taste like a cough drop or something) but ended up being really delicious.

It’s not smooth
I believe it has the medicinal properties it is supposed to have. However, like a couple of the other reviews state, it is grainy and not smooth. It’s like it has undissolved sugar. For that reason, I am going back to New Zealand Co. for my manuka.
