Will this oil disolve in bath water instead of floating on the surface?

it's not an oil. it's a solubizer. You use it in a water-based formula. So let's say you want to make a 2 oz body spray...you'd use 2 oz of water, maybe 10 drops of fragrance oil and 10 drops of poly. This disperses the oil. I think you have the wrong idea of how this is used. I don't know how much oil you'd want in your bath... but you'd have to match that amt with poly. I don't think I'd do it. It'd best for hair serums. Body sprays... things that use very little of both. Generally your moving body would keep the oild dispersed.

Will adding this to clear body mist/wash make it cloudy if I’m adding fragrance and color?

Yes, it will make it cloudy. I have used this with essential oils and water and the end result looks very much like milk.

It is a emulsifier but you have heard the the old saying water and oil don’t mix. It will definitely help. If your using any alcohol in your base that will help also. You can also try heating your base and putting it in a blender as you add the oil and emulsifier.
