Excellent product
Excellent product and very well made! It works perfectly and allows Step Up / Step Down from either 220-240V AC 50Hz to 110-120V AC 60HZ or from 110-120V AC 60Hz to 220-240V AC 50Hz. Extremely happy with this product as it does exactly as advertised and if you require a Step Up / Step Down Transformer this is one of the best quality units on the market at a very reasonable price.

Recommend
I bought it to use my Dyson Airwrap in the US. I bought the airwrap in Korea and needed to convert the electric power. It works very well, no noise at all. Also, easy to use! cord is a bit loose.

Step up step down transformer
Works well with my vintage Singer 431G which is on UK power. Very quiet and runs smooth.

EDITED REVIEW 1 star to 4 stars.Initial Review:Transformer only worked for just over 2 months. Attempted to contact the manufacturer using the warranty link on Amazon with no response or reply after a month and multiple attempts. Terrible customer service with little chance of getting assistance through Amazon. Do not recommend.Updated Review:After posting my 1 star review the company reached out to me to rectify my warranty issue. Within 24 hours of notifying the customer service representative Bruce of my defective transformer, he had a new one shipped to my address which arrived within 48 hours. The new transformer is working as advertised. Amended review to 4 stars.

cheap piece of junk. Poorly built, potentially dangerous
As someone else already mentioned, the European plugs don’t fit properly—they sit loose in the socket and tend to fall out.I managed to get it working briefly with a blender I brought from Germany, but when I switched over to a lamp, things went south fast. The transformer made strange noises, the light flickered for about 30 seconds, and then—boom—the main fuse in my house blew, and everything shut down. This is a cheap piece of junk. Poorly built, potentially dangerous.

A great Transformer
A great product. Indeed i can express that as a first time customer I am truly satisfied. The manufacturer did a Good job and for which must be commended. Therefore I deem it safe to give this product a 5/5 star ratings.

Weight and Temperature
Moved back to the US after 5 years overseas. I had one of these in every country for my US appliances. I bought several appliances that needed to Step Up and this has been exactly what I needed. Very happy with this. It's lighter than I thought and doesn't heat up like ones I've had before.
