Mine came with a chip
Mine came with a chip in one of the cups. Of course there was no contact info to try and get just a cup, so I'm having to return the whole thing. Also, the box was sealed and the dishes were well packaged, there was no chip in the sealed box, so it appears the thing was packaged with a chip on it. Not much for quality control. I'm ordering something different. Probably good that it was chipped because i wouldn't have been happy with these.

Nice dished, poor packaging and arrived broken
I like these dishes, even though they are made in China. They are nice looking and durable. Unfortunately they are packed in cheap Chinise cardboard, and there is little cushioning packaging to prevent shipping damage. One of coffee cups was shattered on arrival. FedEX dropped the package over my driveway fence for some reason, and that is probably what caused the damage. There is no 'FRAGILE' label on the package, which may have helped. Amazon nor the seller pay for return shipping, so in the end I kept the dishes, sans one coffee cup.
