what exactly is 3D jersey? Is it polyester?

Our super soft 3D jersey is made of 80% polyester, 16% cotton, and 4% elastane for stretch. The whole cover is Oeko-Tex certified and machine washable.

What is the purpose of this - why would you buy this product over a swing / bouncer that is battery operated ?

The BABYBJÖRN Bouncer does not rely on electronics, but uses baby's own movements for power. This helps with their motor skills and general development. It also allows them to be able to fall asleep without constant motion since the seat stops moving when they stop moving.

Reviews indicate that there are ugly warning labels across the front of the seat. Is this a US product thing?

It seems that all baby products gave ugly warnings. Yes, it was a concern, but we never walk away from the baby n follow their instructions

Can babies sleep in this?

It is not safe for babies to sleep in a reclined position, even for a nap. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) can happen during a nap. Please Google AAP’s safe sleep recommendations or the Safe to Sleep campaign. The most important recommendation is that babies be put on their back, on a firm surface, every time they’re put to sleep.
