i have been enjoying Forest Essential Bath Oils this winter, mainly for its fragrance and it did soften skin. It made me feel very luxe. However, as my use deepened and I researched more, I was disappointed to learn that most of the active ingredients are present in very small quantities. The base oil that makes up the majority is of a cheaper carrier oil like sunflower oil. In its latest packaging, the brand is not even disclosing what the carrier oil is. Earlier, it used to at least say sunflower oil. Essentially, the pricing is now for the brand, less for active ingredients and fragrance extract that allows for the luxe feel. Full transparency about ingredients would be appreciated at this price point.
