Q: Is this pan for induction stoves?

Yes. any stoves will do, I use it outside with a wood firepit.

Q: im considering buying these pans for a wedding reception dinner feeding about 80 people. Should i buy two pans? 3 pans?

Up to you but KEEP IN MIND, you cannot use them on a regular stove. They are almost 3 feet wide each! Would need a special burner or camp fire setup. I would personally go down in size and and buy 3 or 4 .

I've used it to lift at least 30 lb (66kg) of food or water before. The handles appear to be hot-riveted into place. Very sturdy. This pan is tough.
