Q: Will this got a GHD heated brush?

I'm not sure really. You would be better measuring your heat brush against the measurements of the mat.

Q: What is the width at the bottom of the pouch? It is says 5.5 inches at the top but it looks like it narrows towards the bottom

Not exactly sure of the measurements. But yes it does narrow at one end. When you storing your straightners this is where the top of the tongues go. When using the heat pad the handle bit goes on the narrow end. Hope this makes sense. You won't be disappointed if you buy.

Q: Is it possible to put straighteners into the pouch immediately after switching off?

I bought this for a friend who is a travelling hairdresser and shevputs them straight away so she can go to her next job.

Depends which way you hang or lay on a shelf! Mine is perfect and works well, doesn’t burn my furniture or any material!

As described and good value

As described and good value - useful as a pad and for storing tools when still hot. However, the pouch doesn't accommodate my tongs AND the cable/plug without sticking out the end, so might be messy in my bag if travelling. As the size of hot hair tools vary so much, it would be good idea to look at the dimensions given in the description (which are accurate, bearing in mind it narrows to 11cm at the bottom end).

I am very pleased with the covers. They are quite roomy, and it removes the worry of hot irons etc burning anything as they can be stored quite soon after use into the heat proof pouches. Very happy. So much neater.
