Fun and quality
High quality. I have purchased wooden versions that are hit or miss, but these are solid. I give each of my quantum chemistry students one at the end of the course.

The chrome one is beautiful, but the gold looks cheap.
These tops really are pretty cool. I've spun them over and over and I'm still amazed by the physics which makes them slowly rotate upside down to the top-heavy unstable position. I'm a science guy, and I still don't completely grasp why.As I mentioned in the title, the chrome one is bright, shiny, and just beautiful, but the gold top is anodized and looks cheap. Each comes in it's own small felt storage bag, which is a nice touch. Well worth the money.

The golden spinner works fine, but the silver spinner won't turn itself over

The gold spinning top does not flip over. The silver one flips over, but does not spin true and steady.

Good old school fun.
These things rock. They come in a pair, I got my son them for Christmas. They flip part of the way through their run if you get a good rip on em. It’s like a magic trick. Sturdy construction, we battle these all the time when we have time to kill. Grateful.

Decent for price.
The tops are painted and the finish is not as smooth and shiny as pictured. Other than that they work alright. A little tricky to spin fast enough to flip, but fun to practice with.

Look carefully when an item comes in a big box!
Excellent! I found the object. It was so small I could not find it in the large box.

One won't spin--just goes wobbly.
They don't spin for very long and the gold one won't spin correctly--it just wants to wobble or turn upside down and stop.I wish I could contact the seller directly, but that kind of communication seems impossible. I just want a replacement for the gold one instead of returning both and taking a chance that I'll then get 2 that will only wobble.
