I have been trying to go plastic-free since countless studies have come out talking about microplastics in our bodies breaking the blood-brain barrier and what have you. Not to mention, it's way better for the Earth. I had seen a lot of wooden toothbrushes out on the market, but many still had plastic bristles. That was when I stumbled upon these. There is a slight taste, but it's not terrible. The bristles are soft enough that they don't irritate my gums. There's no stabbing like some of the softer plastic bristles cause. Despite this softness, there's still a good amount of rigidity that makes my teeth feel cleaner than they did with the plastic bristles. The colors are adorable and I love that they're more of a pastel color, which helps with relaxing my nervous system. I don't need a brightly colored toothbrush searing into my eyes as I'm trying to unwind. All in all, these will be my go-to toothbrushes going forward. If you see any other 5 star reviews I've written on toothbrushes with plastic, you can disregard those at this point. These are the best of all time.

Functional and efficient for brushing, but not 100% plastic-free. Theoretically, the bristles are made of PA11, a type of polymer derived from castor oil. So yes, it’s environmentally friendly—but I’m not sure it completely avoids microplastic exposure to the body. If your main concern is sustainability, go for it. If you're looking to avoid microplastics altogether, consider brushes with boar or pig bristles on a bamboo stick. They're plastic-free, though not kosher.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!! Save the earth and save money because this is a huge pack of all natural tooth brushes that will last you a long time. They come numbered so there’s no mix ups, and the bristles become perfect after a few uses

It feels good to help the environment and these toothbrushes certainly do that as they are biodegradable. They’re also good at brushing teeth! They may not last as long as the synthetic ones, but they last long enough and do a good job. I’m glad I’m using them.

Bristles are very soft but seems to do great and cleaning my teeth. You do get a 'wood' taste from the bamboo but it doesn't bother me. Very light weight and you get a large amount of tooth brushes for a great price. The kids ones have color tips, which I wish they did on these also.

These toothbrushes are delightful, the bamboo was certainly a feeling to get used to, but they have easily become on eof my favorite biodegradable brands, once I finish the first use I'll write back on how they biodegrade!

I wanted to like these but I can't get over how the wood feels in my mouth. I'm sure they are great if you don't have texture issues but I figured I'd add this review for others who may have issues with different/certain textures. I asked my son if he wanted one and he knew before he tried it that he also wouldn't be able to handle them. I've had a very tough time finding all natural tooth brushes though. Last ones I purchased for my auto brush had nylon bristles which are not natural. Back to the drawing board.

I am in the process of limiting my exposure to plastics and I decided to ditch the plastic toothbrush. I bought a pack of these and I have been very happy with these. I have been using the brush for two weeks and they work great! The brush is soft and my teeth feel just as clean as when I use a traditional brush. I highly recommend.
