Easy install. Works as expected

I got fast speeds on Wi-Fi, but power consumption was a bit of an issue
So the reason I had to buy this wireless adapter is because I moved into a place that only had Wi-Fi available and I couldn't run an ethernet cable to my PC.It worked really well, providing me with download speeds that were pretty fast on the 5 GHz spectrum. We're talking like 70 to 100 megabits per second. Unfortunately, power consumption was a little bit of an issue and when I had it on a hub with a couple of USB hard drive enclosures, it would disconnect frequently. Now I know that wasn't a problem with this adapter, but with the power consumption needs of mechanical hard drives connected via USB. Still in all it was bothersome and nothing really helped.I still loved it, but I'm really glad that I asked my landlord to let me run an ethernet cable discreetly to the router, it's a much better and stable connection.

Works as advertised, cheap and reliable
I own 3 of these switches and they are awesome. 5 ports and it automatically shuts down the ports when they aren't in use. The first two I bought probably 10 years ago when they were twice the price. I was happy to see the company still makes them 10 years later when I purchased the 3rd. Don't fix what isn't broken! Great product. Solid construction (metal casing) and compact.

13 Jahre absolut zuverlässig im Dauerbetrieb
Ich schreibe diese Rezension, weil ich dieses Gerät nun ein zweites mal kaufen werde.Das erste läuft seit seit Januar 2011, also seit 13 Jahren (!!) völlig stressfrei. Steht auf dem Spitzboden und verbindet die Fritzbox, zwei WLAN-Accesspoints und den Sicherungskasten (SAT-over-Ip-Server)Das Gerät läuft und läuft und läuft…Ich habe das Teil seit Jahren nicht mal mehr angesehen.Deswegen kaufe ich es jetzt noch einmal für die Blockhütte (zum Glück haben wir seinerzeit im Haus und Gartenmehr als ausreichend Leerrohre verlegt)Ich hoffe, dass die nun aktuelle Version der alten in nichts nachsteht - damals habe ich übrigens 29,99€ bezahlt, 7€ mehr als der aktuelle Preis (heute ist der 15.2.2024)

Absolute best quality adapter I've had
It works perfectly, even with my terrible wifi signal. Very minimal packet loss, very low ping, great speeds, in my office in a room far from the router. Perfect and superb value.
