Great brace!
Wow, this compression knee brace fits really well. I had tried a few other braces with support pieces running down the sides and I thought that would be the only solution for me, but I was wrong. This brace is perfect, as it compresses perfectly and protects my knee from movement. I bought it specifically for cycling. The material is thick and I bought a size smaller than the sizing indicated as I want real compression. It's perfect.Knee braces have come a long was since the 1990s when I had an ACL repair and was forced to wear a big brace for weeks. My latest injury is hopefully not that grave and just needs time to heal. So, this brace will help.

These Are The BEST Knee Braces!
I find these braces to be the BEST ones for me! They are really comfortable, stay in place, and offer gentle support when my knees are acting up. I have bought them several times and size up because I don't want a lot of compression; a gentle warming works wonders for my knees. The braces are a soft very elastic knit with sturdy binding sewn to each edge so they don't fall apart with use. Inside the top edge are two rows of silicone in a zig-zag pattern that I don't care for so I wear the braces inside out and they still work great. The silicone rows are there to keep the brace in place but silicone usually irritates my skin. Using the braces inside out makes no difference in performance and they still stay in place even when I'm really active.I own about 3 pairs of these now and seem to buy another one whenever I see them on sale. The oldest braces are still the same size and work just as well as when they were new but I find that they take a day or two to dry after washing so I like to have several pairs in reserve.I hand wash them using warm water and Dawn dishwashing detergent. Rinse in warm water and roll in a towel to get somewhat dry before hanging them up to finish drying. I found that if I don't roll them in a towel after rinsing they take about 4 days to dry because they are such a thick knit.

A Good Sleeve for Many Kinds of Workouts
I own two of these sleeves, and I wear them as a preventive measure (occasional knee ache and strain from over- or misuse), and not because I'm recovering from a knee injury or knee surgery. I wear them during weightlifting, running, yoga, tai chi, and kung fu, and I have found they provide adequate support, without restricting movement. They are soft, medium weight, and very comfortable (I forget I have them on) and provide adequate compression. I own both a medium and a small. My knee circumference is 17.5 inches, so per the sizing chart, I bought a medium (17" - 19.5"). Compression was satisfactory, but I was looking for a snugger fit, where my knee would feel more "strapped in." Hence, I also bought a small, and I wear it on my weaker knee. The small provides a snugger and more reassuring fit, without feeling tight or suffocating, and without binding and restricting movement. The sleeves do slip and bunch some, but it's not excessive. I have used many different types of joint sleeves (knee and elbow) over many years, and I haven't found one yet that does not slip some. I think it almost impossible for a sleeve (absent adhesive) to remain wholly in place across an actively bending and flexing joint, like the knee and elbow, without slipping some. But for me, these sleeves are the best I have used to date. Compression sleeves are such an individual thing that you also will have to try many, to find one right for you and for your specific needs and uses.

Excellent quality, comfortable and stability
Using the knee compression during my climbing and trekking activities. As someone who loves adventure I often find myself pushing my limits which can lead to discomfort or injury. Recently I tried this knee compression and it's been a game changer. Excellent quality, offer both comfort and durability. Moreover noticeable improvement in my performance. I felt more stable and secure. I recommend this knee support for anyone who enjoy climbing and trekking or other strenuous activities.

Initial Rerview: Has gotten me back to hiking. just bought my fourth one - because it helps
November 9 2018 - I am finally opening up my new uflex knee brace. It’s been over seven months of use 5-6 days/week. Unknown number of washings - cold water with woolite and air dried. The support seems to have diminished just a bit. The grippy area is gone but it still stays up okay. Very pleased with this product. Will be ordering another one.August 2018 Update - Five months+ of use 5 or more days per week and at least 25 washings with hiking and road biking. This is the best support for my knee that I have found. I have not opened up the second one that I purchased yet because I am now trying to see what it will take to destroy this knee brace. The compression is still super and I believe that it is close the same compression as when it was new. I hand wash it in Woolite and air dry (it does take a while to dry so I wash on Fridays and use it again on Monday. The silicone gripper is nearly 100% gone but the brace stays exactly in place without it (the silicone gripper does hold it better but it works very well without it - much to my surprise). This has been a great purchase and the folks that I have recommended it to have bought it and like it. During the summer months I road bike instead of hiking and I bike about 150 miles/week. I know that I would not be able to do that without this product. I should add that I paid full price for and have absolutely no relationship with the vendor or manufacturer other to be a happy customer.I just ordered another one since the first one has worked great. Like anyone who is reading this i have some issues with my knees. For me aging has exacerbated the problems that have come from many miles of backpacking and years of horseback riding. I still hike but knee pain was getting to me. My doctor sent me to an orthopedist who did xrays, told me about arthritic changes and put me in a knee support. The support worked great insofar as pain relief but i could not hike with it. That led to a search of my own and this is the third and most effective product (I like the pain relief enough to order another one). When we measured my leg i came in at the "low" end of large so based on suggestions from other reviewers i ordered a medium and its perfect. I have hiked a bit over 50 miles this past week and it has been largely pain free. I know for sure that i could not have done that without this product. The others that i tried were a bit lighter in weight than this but not nearly as supportive (although they are okay for bicycling).
