This bin took a while to get here but I’m so glad I ordered it, it’s a lovely shiny purple colour and is easy to set up yo just pop the batteries (which it doesn’t come with) and secure the bag with the liner ring and then pop the top on, just move your hand over the sensor the lid comes up pop your rubbish in and then the lid closes, you have the option to turn this on and off with the button and I believe there is an option for the lid to stay open longer but I’ve not used this yet

Lightweight and useful

The product was faulty - the sensor on the lid did not work. Returning it was a huge hassle as it had to be done via UPS rather than the usual Amazon returns. I choose to go to a UPS access point at a local shop - ended up at four different places - one said the guy who accepts UPS parcels was on holiday, another said they only accept parcels on weekdays, a third first refused to accept it and then asked for three copies of the return slip. Fourth time lucky - such a hassle.So ordering from Amazon was not a convenience.
