Better Than Expected
These walkie talkies are great! Voices come in loud and clear. There are times when you'll pick up a conversation that isn't yours, but changing the channel isn't a big deal. We haven't tested just how far the signal can transmit, but it works very well in and around the house. With all of the accessories included, it was the best set for the money. Being able to recharge the unit is priceless.

handy-talkies that work well
These are nearly a 5 star product.I'm an engineer, so I tend to be a bit conservative and thorough. I am also a ham radio operator.This is a quality product, no question. Is it a kids' "toy" walkie? I don't think so, it goes a bit beyond what most "kids" would be able to use.The manuals mention "software" repeatedly, sounds like there should be an add-on product, but really, they mean the radio can be programmed via channel, button press, and power-on sequences.A nice feature - these are easy to use, my wife doesn't need to learn about tones, frequencies, encoding; the switches are solid and won't change on accident.Why 4-stars? They are advertised as designed for children, really they are more sophisticated, beyond the scope of most walkie talkies for children.

Excellent range and easy for kids to use
Purchased these ones as a replacement to another model that broke after one day of use. These are perfect, range is amazing and having the rechargeable dock stations is a plus, never have to buy batteries again. Kids love them and are perfect when they go to neighbors houses to stay in touch. A must buy!

Awesome product but
I love this item BUT only one charger worked upon opening package. I am trying to figure out who to contact to get a replacement charger and have NO IDEA how to get resolution. Hopefully the company will contact me once they read this and I can get a replacement charger on my new purchase. My kids love the item so I would give more stars if everything worked or if they resolve this issue. Will update review if resolution received.
