It’s a Weber !!!
I purchased this for a replacement for a 20-year-old Weber and mostly as a back up. The previous product is still going well, but it was hard to pass up the price for another Weber as a back up in case something goes wrong and I don’t have the time or able to source replacement parts. But right now neither one is getting a lot of use the people that I tailgate with would rather buy premade food and take to shows and tailgating events then to cook on site. But I miss the old days where you did it yourself on scene and knew exactly what you were getting and Cook to your style or preference. I guess time moves on but then again how do you go wrong with having one more webers available for whatever situation arises. I hope it never happens again. They are great if the power goes out and you’re unable to use a bigger gas grill for one reason or another or don’t have access to an electric stove in your home or the gas is not working or water or both of the above. as long as you have propane on hand, and usually in my experience, I have going through a number of storms in the East Coast. Gasoline is hoarded propane is usually available. And I do have the extension so that I can use the larger gas grill or home grill size tank and just store a safe amount or convenient amount of on the go 2 1/2 pound 5 pound so at this point, I know it’s not about the grill, but it’s what I use it for and anticipation for

Road trip
First off I need to take a few pictures but keep forgetting, this is great when on a road trip or even when I tailgate at a event , I even have a nice carry case for it to hold my grill and gas bottles, , very easy to put together, I buy the gas at my local camping store, when home I give it a nice wash up easy to clean, most of the time cooking for 4 people, hamburgers and hotdogs maybe a few buns and even sometimes a few steaks, generally turn it on high for a few minutes then take the cover off and start cooking holds heat great, another thing very sturdy doesn’t feel like it will tip over I do add when cooking steak like aluminum throw away dish to catch the juices instead of going on the table but other than that it works fine, basically instead of paying all that money at a restaurant stop at a local park do some grilling and enjoy the outdoors

Weber makes a great product!
As longtime campers, we’ve gone through our share of tabletop gas grills. All we want is a basic grill, and for years we’ve been forced to buy the cheap Charbroil product that just doesn’t hold up.We arrived at our favorite campsite this week to discover that our 4 yr old grill was shot. Since we need a grill to cook on for the week, I checked Amazon and was delighted to find Weber now makes a basic grill that fits our needs perfectly. (We have a Weber Genesis II at home that’s over 20 years old and going strong!). I ordered it with instructions to deliver to our campground, and tonight we put it to use. Crisis averted! This grill is far superior to others we’ve owned— heavier gauge metal, much better burner unit and gas regulator. The cost was a bit more, but well worth it. I’m confident it will serve us well for more than 4 years.

Still great, but comes with a new grate...
The new version of the Webber Go Anywhere grill comes with a flat, enameled grill plate surface which keeps grease from dripping onto your burner/s, but doesn't provide the "flavorizer" function from smoke due to the little flame ups on a typical under guard flavoriser from dripping grease. The flat plate also fails to produce classic grill lines/marks, and will likely need to be washed/scrubbed separately as opposed to brought up to temp and scrubbed with a bit of tin foil as you can with stainless steel. I wish I didn't need to buy it separately, but I found a high quality replacement stainless steel grate and "flavoriser" here on amazon and I recommend doing the same. I also bought a thermometer for the lid for better accuracy. The piezoelectric igniter seems to work pretty well, though may need adjustment from time to time so that it has a close enough gap to the burner to produce a spark, but I don't expect it to last forever. I over all find this grill to be a perfect fit and value for travelers or apartment dwellers (though I did score it for nearly 50% off) and hope it will serve me for many years to come.

NEW PURCHASE
I've owned a Weber Go Anywhere gas grill since 2010. It has provided remarkable service over all those years. These grills are extremely weather resistant. It's been exposed without covering to many rains and different weather conditions. The porcelain is heavy duty and the grill is top quality. I added the burner plate and wire grill from my old Weber. The new grill is very nice and seems to work well. The cooking surface does not come with a wire grill but has a porcelain top for things like steaks, chops etc.I used the wind screen from the old BBQ which I fashioned from galvanized steel, hinges and rivets. It works perfectly with the new BBQ and folds flat for easy storage. The sizes of the two are identical and parts are interchangeable. I haven't cleaned it yet however it looks like the regulator and burner would have to be removed to use an oven cleaner on it. This isn't difficult. The gas regulator is a bit different from the old one however and I haven't had any problems at all. The new regulator seems more adjustable than the old. I've had the new one for two weeks only so as of now it's been great. The delivery came as promised and was delivered to the local rural US Post Office where we picked it up. That is perfect for a full time RV'er as we travel extensively. Call the P.O. first!
