I'm new to burning resin insense on charcoal. I would suggest using tongs and lighting these outside or near the stove vent because they smoke and smell awful when you first light them. That being said, they do light easily and burn evenly . After that, they work great for the insense and last about half an hour.

Sometimes I run into a dud maybe 1 in each roll. They catch fire really fast but don't last longer than about 30 minutes. I prefer Three Kings and those burn way longer, an hour minimum.

I just started using resin. I was putting it on an incense plate and not much happened. I decided to get this charcoal and wow! What a difference. I use cheap tongs for a buck to pick it up, light it with a match and put it on the tray and place the resin on top. What a great burn. Powerful. My whole house smoked up but in a good way, I love the smell. I cut these in half because I don’t need a long burn. Good buy.
