These are very good carabiners at a good price. I am happy with my purchase, and if I need more I will not hesitate to purchase more of these. I use them for hunting from tree stands.

I bought some of these a few years ago and more a few weeks ago. They are so handy at work. I use them for pulling heavy tools and materials up to rooftops in my nosebag. I use them with a strap to tow my tool cart (~400 lbs when loaded) with a scissor lift to save having to walk back and forth at the stadium where I'm upgrading the cell phone distributed antenna system. I also use them to hang my nosebags on the scissor lift rails so I'm not tripping over, stepping on, or having to bend down to get my tools and materials. I use them and abuse them, but I haven't had one break yet.

I bought this for a bungee horse lead. It had a loop at the end with a velcro closure but I didn't want the bungee lead to come loose and hit the horse in the head and the horse then be free to run off into the sunset without me. I have many horses who pull back and the bungee lead is great for this reason. However like I said it had a hook at the end and I used this carabiner to make sure the lead rope did not come off the tree. I love the lightness of it and the locking feature as it gives me relief to know it will hold up even to the most biggest puller.

I've bought these twice and will be ordering more. It's apparently very difficult to find climbing grade auto lockers in blue. They work perfectly. My only complaint is they are not vibrant blue like the picture, they're more of a metallic sky blue.

This set of FresKaro Climbing Carabiners were not purchased for climbling but for hanging backpacks and other equipment from lines and other similar tasks. My criteria were ease of opening, strength and weight.With and without gloves these are easy to open *with two hands*. To do this requires turning the mechanism and depressing the catch. This is pretty simple but occasionally I end up turning it the wrong way or the carabiner is aligned in a different way so may take a couple tries to twist in the right direction. For this reason, I expect that if one-handed operation or quick disconnect is needed then this is probably not the perfect carabiner for you. Yes, it can be opened with one hand but it's clumsy if it's not in the right orientation when you try.Strength is fine. Again, I'm not using this for climbing but it absolutely holds my 100Kg weight without issue, even bouncing up and down. It is marketed for climbing so I'm assuming it would been those specific critieria for strength.Finally, they are lightweight. I don't have a scale but they are much lighter than a similar steel clip that I bought for the same purpose.All said, I am satisfied with this purchase especially with the decent price.
