Don’t buy
Opened it up it was a dirty coffee pot that had been used as well as the coffee filter takes an hour to brew and stops working all together after a month I give this 0 stars

A life saver to coffee drinkers in times of need
5 cup carafe, VERY slow to brew but an absolute life saver for road trips where coffee is not a convenient stop. I would definitely recommend to coffee drinkers where there are no other options. I spend a few nights a year sleeping in random spots in my car on my way across the country and this gets me thru just fine.

NOT WORTH IT!!
I was SO excited to have an automatic coffee maker and it took 30 minutes to brew 20 ounces, that’s 2 cups of coffee!! All the reviews are true, it’s tiny, it’s SLOW and the coffee isn’t very hot when done. Also, tasted like plastic. I will be returning this after we get back.

My husband Loves his New Coffee Pot
I brought this for my husband for Christmas as he does some traveling and Loves his morning coffee. He said, he worked great. It only took about 20 mins, and it was nice and Hot.

It is slow. 20-30 minutes for coffee.
As I said it's slow, however the question is what do you want it for? I wanted the ability to make coffee in my pickup. Because simply put I hate coffee shops and I'm not a fan of gas station coffee. I work in disasters. I took this coffee pot into Huricane Ian with me in my pickup. It was awesome to be able to brew coffee in my pickup.Yes it's slow. The other problem was I broke the coffee pot. The glass is paper thin. Thankfully Walmart sells small 5 cup replacement pots. I purchased one and had to fabricate the lid a little to make it work. Yet now I have a sturdy pot and I use it daily with work. I just spend the 20 mi uses doing email or something while It brews. So the question is do you want it now, or do you want it good? I prefer my own coffee and 20 minutes is not the best time, but the fact it's good outweighs the complaints of it being slow. Perhaps those who need everything fast should instead slow down in life and or if they are that wound up, they probably should cut back in the coffee they consume anyhow.

This is a great 12V coffee maker
This will definitely make you a good (and hot) cup of coffee plugged into your 12V accessory plug in your vehicle. I’m a truck driver and currently my truck doesn’t have 110VAC so I’ve shopped for a 12v coffee maker. Wanted something in a Keurig form but haven’t found one. This one does the trick.I’ve seen reviews about having to hold the brew pot up so that the coffee drains. I understand that issue since the instructions don’t really address that possibility BUT there are hard to notice instructions imprinted on the maker itself around the basket and filter. You just have to make sure all of those pieces are fully in place and there’s no problems.Pretty handy. I think it’ll make 4 large cups of coffee. It does take about 15 mins to brew. That would be the only drawback.Enjoy!

12 volts not up to task
does not work really, got a few drops of coffee out before my power bank screeched at me and turned off because the port got hot, although that battery itself should be able to power itit needs 13 amps based off what the box says, but the info here says it uses morehigh amp loads will warm ports up, and cause internal battery resistance to lower the amount of energy you get out, it may work with a full car battery directly attached to it, but it should of came with 12 volt clamps or battery attachments as most cars have 100w fuses in the round outletsonce i get my battery charged i may attempt it again to see if it does possibly work in the end, how if you want a battery pack for camping to power a coffee machine, you are better off finding a low wattage ac powered machine and using an inverter, often built into battery packs, 120v is much more suited for even this 140w load then 12some of the slowness may be my power supply only wanting 140 watts out, but it was a large battery pack, don't have a watt meter for car battery, so i won't really be able to tell even if it works
