Fixed Clicking Sound On My 2013 Mazda 3 Sedan
Great filters. Fixed the clicking sound on my 2013 Mazda 3. Was pretty easy to install, just a weird angle and small space to work. Mazda's fault, not the filters. Great price for these filters and thank god it fixed the clicking sound from my heater fan. Was so annoying. Cleaned out the leaves and looks like they had the original Mazda branded filter in there. So filters were prolly never changed before in 10 years. Highly recommend this product. About half the price of others, fit perfectly in the car.

Good product
Fast delivery and fit correctly. The product was just what I wanted. FYI Mazda 3 filter change is a pain! But the filters are fine

It Fits - 2013 Mazda 3i
this cabin air filter replaces the STP CAF 1878P - it does take some time to remove and replace- you need to remove a small panel which covers the air sensor cover (clip)- you need to remove a plastic plate under the glove compartment (clip)- you need a philips screwdriver to remove two screws in the cover and you pull out the two filters- placing your new filters: filter with foam goes into the top slot (foam side pointing up)- the other filter slides underneath with the short rib pointing up- replace the air sensor cover and screws- replace small panel to cover air sensor cover- replace plastic plate under the glove compartment** auto repair shop charges: $75 for filter and labor

Doesn't show air flow on top filter
As someone else mentioned the top filter doesn't have anything that's shows what direction the air flow is so I had to pretty much guess. The bottom filter did say but top did not have any sign or symbol. I used the old filter as a reference so I'm hoping that was okay. I recommend checking the direction before removing the plastic around the filters. Other than that they seemed to fit correctly and it took a bit to install but that's mostly because of the way the cabin filter area is in the car.

2011 Mazdaspeed 3
It’s been almost 6 years (~23k miles) since I replaced my cabin filter, but that’s because I barely drive my car 4k miles/year. The installation was simple and the filter fits like the old one. I noticed an immediate improvement in the smell and air quality, which wasn’t bad to begin with. My only concern is this filter has ⅔ the pleats of the OEM filter (top of picture). I wonder if having fewer pleats is part of the reason why I didn’t notice much of an improvement in air flow, but this is only a small concern because the airflow was great before the replacement. It also makes me wonder if air flow will decrease faster over time with fewer pleats. The pleats on the new filter are thicker and more rounded than the OEM filter, so there may not be quite as much of a reduction in the total surface area. But, this is a small gripe and I can’t complain for the low cost of the filter. I would buy again, even if I have to replace it a little sooner.
