This Works Amazingly Well
I'm a grandparent and with 3 toddlers around, stains are inevitable. In the past we had small stains in their play room and though they were a bit unsightly, we never worried about them much. A recent spill came right in the middle of our great room and it was a rather large spill of the dreaded red kool aid. After a brief search I found this product with a claim that seemed rather boastful. I can honestly report that the product does exactly what it clams to do and it does it with amazing easy and completely eliminated any and all traces of the spill. As as extra special bonus, we gave it a try on some stains that have been around for a couple of year and it removed them in minutes. We applied this straight, undiluted, applying it in a light mist and wetting the affected area. After the application we placed a hot, wet washrag over the stain and covered it with an old towel, letting it sit for about 15 minutes. No scrubbing, no soaking, no heat, no steam, just a hot washrag and when we uncovered the stained area, it was 100% gone. I was as amazed as I am pleased with this product. It certainly does clean away stains and I will not hesitate to recommend this product. It deserves a 5 star rating.

It works great just follow instructions!
Works great! I got this due to my kids spilling furit punch all over their room. Ive had tried everything nothing worked took a chance and got this product and proof stains gone! I will say if you use this product you need to spray it let it sit for abit then hit it with a wet cloth and steam for about 30 seconds. The smell isn't the best but it definitely works can't complain save me over $1500 for a professional carpet cleaner to come out so that's a win in my book.

It Did the Trick!
This cleaner is absolutely fabulous. My dogs spilled RED Gatorade on my white carpet two nights ago. I cleaned it as best I could, but there was still a red tint in the carpet. This cleaner neutralized the stains within an hour. I am so pleased.

A hyped product that actually works!
I was skeptical about this "amazing" red stain remover since generally they never work as claimed. This is the real deal. I had a red stain on my back seat car carpet from a detailing product that leaked. All of the usual carpet cleaners and solvents that I used in the past didn't even lessen the stain. I figured what do I have to lose so I ordered this stain remover. Tonight I gave it a try and the results were amazing. The key seems to be the steaming process with an iron and damp cotton wash cloth. First I sprayed the stained area, worked it into the carpet with a brush and waited. After 10 to 15 minutes the stain was still there. Rather than wait over night to see if the stain would disappear I went to the iron and a white cotton wash cloth. Next I re-sprayed the stained area per the instructions on the bottle. Then I took the wet cotton wash cloth, placed it over the stain and hit it with the hot iron creating steam. I did this 2 or 3 times for 15 to 20 seconds until I could see some pink transferring to the wash cloth. I then rinsed the wash cloth which removed the reddish pink color that was in it and repeated the process. I did this about 5 or 6 times until the stain was gone. It really does work. There was no bad smell from using this product based on my experience. See the before and after photos attached.

This stuff saved my carpet and my bank account!
I am so thankful to have found this stuff!Last week on Wednesday evening, I had my 6 year old son for the evening. As is our usual routine, once we get home from daycare, I usually give him something to drink and a snack depending on whether or not we’ve had dinner. The beverage of choice ranges from fruit punch, blue Gatorade, apple juice, water, or milk. No soda.I filled up an 8 ounce spill-proof cup with Crystal Light fruit punch and handed it to him.Two minutes later I sent him upstairs to release the dogs from their kennel so they could eat dinner and go outside.Being the obedient little boy he is, he went upstairs and let the dogs out and they came tearing down the stairs as usual, wolfed down their food, and then I took them out to the yard for probably 3-4 minutes. When I got back inside, He handed me his cup and said, “Dad, I need more drink please.” I said, “Wow, you must be thirsty!” and refilled the cup. We sat and chilled in the living room for about 90 minutes or so playing with LEGOs, got some of his homework done, etc.I was just about ready to have him head upstairs and put his pajamas on, but I decided to go up first and throw a load of laundry in the wash machine so it would be done by the time I went to bed later in the evening. As soon as I got up to the first landing, something caught my eye on the carpet and I looked down. And then I looked around me. I stood for a moment stunned. From the very first stair beginning in the living room, up to the landing, up the second flight of stairs, down the hallway, around the corner and into the bonus/dog’s room and to the kennel was a trail of bright red fruit punch. Not just a couple of drops of red here and there...but a zig-zagging continuous line broken up only by each stair. I reached down and put my hands on the spot. It was bone dry.At this point I wasn’t sure if he unscrewed the cap off his beverage or if I didn’t secure it tight enough, whatever… It didn’t really matter at this point it was too late. I asked him if he realized that his juice had spilled, he said no and looked shocked and really scared when he saw the carpet. He apologized profusely. I told him it was okay and that I would clean it up after he went to bed and not to worry about it. Based on the fact that he didn’t notice it, I figured he may have knocked the cup over or put it on the floor to unlock the kennel, and then on the way back downstairs is when it started to leak is my guess.Oh well. This is why I bought a carpet shampooer I thought to myself. I took some Oxiclean carpet shampoo, diluted it in a spray bottle, and pretreated the trail of red so it could soak in while I prepped the shampooer.I ran that damn carpet shampooer back-and-forth across the stain with heated Oxiclean carpet shampoo for over an hour and all it did was turn the dark red into a lovely shade of pink. As a bonus, the now saturated pink stain actually increased the width of the original stain! The next day I called a few professional carpet cleaners, and once they found out what the stain wise they all said the same thing: Minimum of $350-$500 and they could not guarantee that the stain would come clean.I did some research on Amazon, thinking I could not be the only one that has ever been blessed with a red Kool-Aid like stain on beige or white carpet.I stumbled upon “Red 1” Kool Aid Remover. After reading several reviews, the vast majority of them were positive and said that this stuff worked when everything else failed.I figured this was my Hail Mary pass. Either this stuff was going to work or I was going to end up spending money I didn’t have to professionally clean the carpet or end up replacing the carpet early next year with my whatever income tax refund I might get.I followed the directions and pre-treated every pink fiber of carpet, using nearly 3/4 of the bottle. Depending on how deeply set the stain was, the instructions said, the red would either disappear within an hour or you would have to add heat to the treated area to release the stain. It suggested using a steam iron over a towel or terry cloth or a steamer.I have a large garment steamer that I’ve had for years, and decided to try that versus the risk of melting my carpet onto the bottom of an iron.Within the first minute of the steam penetrating the carpet, the stain lighten significantly, and then disappeared! To my amazement every section I ran the steamer across and then blotted up with a towel...the towel turned pink and the stain on the carpet was gone. It took an hour and a half this evening to carefully go over every single area that was affected, but now it looks like the accident never happened at all!Trust me, if you spill something artificially colored red on your carpet, buy this stuff or have it on hand. Wine is a different story, because that is a natural dye and you can usually get that up with Oxiclean or a special red wine cleaner. Industrial red dye and/or artificially-colored red beverages like Kool Aid or Crystal Light are a completely different story!Thank you Red 1, Your product was worth every penny of the $30 I spent! It saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars!

It actually works.
I don't typically review but thought it necessary to add to the reviews of this product. I know you're expecting it to not work, but it will work. Spray it on, leave it alone for the night and when you wake up it's gone. I thought it wasn't going to work because it didn't immediately come up even with heat. But i sprayed spots.. and there were a ton.. and left them over night and i was shocked when i woke up to no more red stains. I wish i wouldn't have wasted my time with ammonia and an iron all those times. The only down side, some of the deeper stains did go from red to a very very faint yellow (my carpet is off white), which i will take over red any day. thats why i only ga e 4 stars but i love it.
