After looking around and reading the reviews I took the plunge and bought this tripod mount. Let me tell you I'm glad I did my research and went with this unit. Super high quality great price very good mounting points and variety of mounting points. I don't use my GoPro all that often so perhaps it might be missing "professional features" that people who film all the time are looking for but I could tell you if you're a hobbyist or just need a good tripod get this one.

Feels very sturdy/solid. Had previously been using a Ubeesize tripod, went through two of them with the latest one's leg falling off and the female pivot socket cracking (plastic). This Ulanzi MT-11 feels rock solid. Pivot is metal. Aside from the 30 seconds it took to figure out how to get the phone adapter open, this is a perfect fit for hands free face time calls.

The head and phone holder are made from plastic. Functions fine, but would not trust it to hold anything really expensive.

Very flexible... Does hold a camera with an extended lense, as well as a cell phone too. Sturdy... Doesn't feel like it's made by playschool.... Ya feel me? This feels, & so far has been durable. I dropped it down the stairs... One of my floors has 15steps. Now at this point... Just watching it go down the stairs & seeing & hear the main housing atop with the fastener. I'm thinking... This thing must be cracked.... Not only did it keep my phone still intact..... But there wasn't a single scratch on the darn thing! So for me... Well worth it. Place it anywhere!

I have never owned a segmented or flexible small tripod previously. There are so many uses when placing cell phone or action camera in an uneven place or hanging from a tree limb or fence. A big help when the photographer or videographer wants to be in the shot as well.
