I never herd of a welding mask. You must mean a welding helmet. No it does not fit over a welding helmet.

The ultrasoft knit hood, 12 cal arc rated (h11ry) is 12 cal/cm² arc-rated protection that is compliant with NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 and made of 6.5 oz. FR UltraSoft® fabric. The h85fk fr control 2.0 balaclava,modacrylic blend is 4 cal/cm² arc-rated protection that is compliant with NFPA 70E and made of 5.5 oz. FR modacrylic blend with moisture wicking technology that helps regulate skin temperature (+/- 3 degrees) in the cold or the heat.

Excellent comfort & protection

Very comfy and lightweight! Has FR tags stitched on it! I have an average head shape, mabye slightly more round. Fits perfect with plenty of room to fit over my half face respirator! Very lightweight and breathes, does not get hot fast! Im smelting so thats hot! Lots of taper down the neck for extra protection! Can not comment on how fire resistant it is...lets keep it that way!

Cover neck and not too heavy for Singapore's weather

Used it for head cover as I'm a muslim girl in oil&gas industry in Singapore. Fabric is not heavy and suitable for Singapore's weather without being too thin. It has extra fabric at the bottom that covers the neck totally inside or outside my collared uniform.Not sure how long this will last me as I've used for few days but overall was a good buy.Not sure if it'll still be as good for those in the colder climates .
