Samsung LU32R591CWNXZA-RB 32" 4K Curved Monitor (Renewed)

I’ve always been one to have two screens because I feel like it makes me more productive. I tried various brands, sizes, shapes, etc. and this one, by far, has been my favorite. It’s large enough that I don’t have to use dual monitors, but it’s thin and light enough that it fits perfectly on my 48” desk. The sleek aesthetic is pleasing to the eyes, and the renewed quality/price is easy on the wallet. Mine came with the plastic still on the frame and didn’t have a single scratch.Also, as someone who has the 16” MacBook (I know, pretentious), the picture quality of the screen is practically identical. I had to play around with the settings for a while, but I successfully matched the clarity of my laptop screen.10/10

I had a Samsung 32 inch with 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a Samsung 32 with 2560 x 1440. This 4k monitor blows them both away. It's amazing for work... I can display applications side by side with zero compromise... no horizontal scrolling required. I used to use two monitors regularly... this single 32 4k is all I need now. My PC games look really good... even though I had to turn down the graphics on the games to get the FPS high enough to look right... the minor loss in the game graphics is more than made up by the crystal clear quality of the pixels. I read a few reviews for this where people were complaining about the image quality... you either have an old computer with an old graphics card... or you aren't using the right cables. I was using a mini DP to HDMI from my laptop and it looked awful... switched to mini DP to DP and *pop*, the correct resolution appeared and aaaaaaah... I'm so happy.

This monitor keeps switching off and is not useable. Poor quality build.I have a monitor that I paid a lot of money for and it is totally useless. Amazon should be responsible for this but they keep passing me over to Samsung. This is totally wrong and Amazon are wiping there hands of the problem. I will never buy electrical products or computer related part from Amazon again as they are not going to help when they sell you a faulty product.Buyers be ware of buying any computer components from Amazon.

I use this as an external monitor for working at home and it's perfect. It also looks really nice on my desk. I bought it refurbished. Taking one star off because occasionally the picture quality seems to glitch and I see lines on the monitor, but it's not that often and it does go away.

UPDATE: I have changed my review based on the fact that I have received a great monitor replacement. IO gave it time to see if I would encounter any other issues. It has been wonderful using it the past few months. For the cost and the product quality I have updated my review to 5 Stars. I have no photo of the flawless monitor as it is perfect and looks/ works as advertised. Thank you.Feb 10th, 2023: Overall, the picture quality in the build of the monitors wonderful. I love the curve and all that comes with it. But the main issue is this light bleeding border around the whole edge of the monitor, I opened it only 30 minutes ago and noticed it while setting up my desk. I am planning to return this one and try to get a replacement. Hope I can have better luck next time. I will change my review if I get a better monitor next.

The monitor is absolutely beautiful I knew it was going to be large but oh my goodness is it big! I wasn't expecting the box it came in to be literally the size of me! For reference I am 5'2 I'm short but my God! Overall the monitor works just fine I've had it for about a month now sometimes when I turn it on or turn on the computer and the monitor comes on there are a ton of gray lines across the screen I'm not sure if it is the cord and using a new plug wood fix that problem. Because the moment I unplug it and plug it back into my computer or it works just fine and the screen comes to normal but other than that the screen works beautifully I absolutely love it!

What I liked about this monitor was that it was large enough to display two screens. I did not like that an owner's manual was not included with the monitor. This monitor shuts itself off when it has been idle. It would have been nice to know how to bring it back to life. Even to this day, I have difficulty finding and adjusting the settings.

I truly can't go back to anything less than full 4k after using this monitor. My 2020 M1 Macbook Pro could easily drive it at 4k 60hz with a DP to USB-C cable. It is a wonderful monitor for productivity! I could see everything on the screen in great detail and it was very easy on the eyes. You can't beat the value, either.
