Super cute wooden pizza with toppings
You can never go wrong with Melissa and Doug products. Very well made and the attention to details is amazing. I have an almost 7 yo and an almost 2 yo and I probably have bought most of Melissa and Doug toys.

Dramatic Play
Our five year old enjoyed this pizza set. The quality of the pieces are exceptional. The cutter could be more functional, but it's still worth the price.

So cute! So fun!
Bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas. I’ve even caught my 18 year old playing with her with it lol. It is pretty fun and well made. The box isn’t the easiest to contain things but we just drop them in a storage bag.

Best Pizza
My son LOVES this pizza set. I've had it for a few months now and he plays with it at least every other day. It has held up so well.

Perfect.
The Melissa & Doug Wooden Pizza Set is a great way for kids to use their imagination and creativity. The set includes a wooden pizza, a pizza tray, 36 pizza "toppings," a pizza cutter, and a server. All of the pieces are made of high-quality wood and are painted with non-toxic paints. The pizza is made of six slices that are held together by Velcro. This makes it easy for kids to take the slices apart and put them back together again. The toppings are also made of wood and are a variety of different shapes and sizes. This gives kids a lot of options when it comes to creating their own pizzas. The pizza tray is a nice addition to the set. It is made of durable plastic and has a lip around the edge to keep the pizza from falling off. The pizza cutter is also a great addition. It is sharp enough to cut through the wood slices, but not so sharp that it will hurt kids. This set is a great toy for kids of all ages. It is perfect for imaginative play and can help kids develop their fine motor skills. The set is also a great way for kids to learn about different foods and cultures. Here are some pros and cons of the Melissa & Doug Wooden Pizza Set:Pros:High-quality wood constructionNon-toxic paintsVariety of toppingsPizza tray and pizza cutter includedGreat for imaginative playHelps develop fine motor skillsLearn about different foods and culturesCons:Some of the toppings are small and could be a choking hazard for young childrenThe pizza tray is not dishwasher safeOverall, this set is a great toy for kids of all ages. Nephew Plays Constantly!
I gave this toy to my nephew (2.5 years old) for Christmas last week. He absolutely LOVES it! He has a toy very similar, made by Melissa & Doug, so as he took the wrapping off, he knew it was something he'd enjoy. He tore off the paper with earnest!Ever since, he has enjoyed creating pizza slices for us. It is a very interactive toy that seems to require he have willing subjects to "taste" the pizza - and might not be as fun for a child playing alone. The ingredients are red/green peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I'm only a fan of the pepperoni, but he would eat anything, and he was thrilled it had the other ingredients. It would be nice to have more variety, but for a young one and for the purpose he is pleased - so I am too.The box came with a pizza platter as well, and I noticed a review where someone mentioned a pizza fast-food place might give you a pizza box for the child to play with as well if you mention how fun this game is for them. The pizza platter it includes in ours, is green, and the perfect size. It also came with a pizza cutter/slicer & spatula. He knows how to stack the ingredients on the pizza, put the pizza together, and cut it all apart. Definitely a great teaching tool for kids, in understanding how to use a pizza slicer, without any risk. ;)On a side note, there are a LOT of pieces. If you're worried about the child losing things, or a big mess/scattered toys, this is probably not the toy for you. But if they're neat, and old enough to pick up their toys (keep things together), it's great fun.Overall, I highly recommend - but also continue to look for additional ingredients I might be able to get for it?
